“I know I'm pretty. But you are equally as pretty as me so there's no need for you be insecure,” Daisy stated ans she sipped on her tea.

Margaux's eyebrows arched without leaving her gaze on her face. “Excuse me?” she scrunched her nose, “You ever changed Daisy, you're still vain as ever,” she commented.

She shook her head when she saw her cousin arched her eyebrows perfectly while looking at her. She knew Daisy was already waiting for whatever she was going to say so she would not drag the conversation long.

Letting out a heavy sigh, she looked straight into her eyes, “Jack told me the truth,” she stated.

She watched how Daisy's expression changed. The confidence on her face instantly went away as her eyes went wide and her jaw dropped.

“What did he tell you?” she queried. A hint of nervousness could be heard to her voice.
