“Ex-girlfriend?!” Margaux exclaimed in disbelief. She even jolted up while her eyes went wide staring at Jack.

“It was just a brief relationship because she didn't want a serious one though,” the guy shrugged.

She stared at him incredulously while her hands were covering her mouth. “No way! She didn't mention it!” she hollered.
