The chief officer stepped forward

“I can’t assure you about that, Miss Margaux. My team is the one assigned for Mr Mondragon’s case..” he stated.

Margaux tilted her head. “Then I will ask for a formal turn over,” she responded.

She watched how the chief’s face dimmed. She knew it would not be easy for it was their field of work she was going to meddle with. But she was skeptical. Those people did not seem trustworthy as Daisy had mentioned about the special treatment they gave to Roxanne.

“We are not going to stop you. But I am advising you that you should not expect too much,” the officer muttered.

Daisy sighed dramatically.

“Don't worry, we will make sure that the assigned team for Hendrix’s case will be fair and just,” she said.
