“Are we disturbing you?’ Daisy raised an eyebrow at her.

Margaux cleared her throat as she averted her gaze. She wanted to hit Hendrix for taking her in that position but she couldn’t turn her gaze back nor even glance at his direction again.

“Take a rest now. I have something to discuss with my family outside,” she said dismissively then stood up.

She shut her eyes and heaved a deep breath. “I’m fine,” she answered, although she felt like her sprained foot had completely broken at the moment.
