Chapter 271: Hallucination

Margaux was tired even if she just woke up. She felt like she ran a marathon and did not really sleep because her energy was drained and she was exhausted. It was not the alcohol for it was only her head that was aching but was not lethargic.

‘This must be because of what happened last night,’ she thought.

Grunting, she shook her head and forced herself to get up. It was already past seven and late for work. She can’t take an off because aside from having a long break already, she would only lock herself in her room and suffer from overthinking which she was avoiding for over a week already.
