Chapter 233: Delusion

Mrs Garcia’ss voice reverberated throughout the whole lobby that all people there immediately stopped whatever they were doing and stared at their direction. While the hospital staffs and those who recognized her looked at her with shocked expression.

Her steps abruptly halted as her body got frozen. Even Hendrix seemed frozen as well for both of them did not move after that.

“That’s defamation,” Daisy stated calmly. “That’s a huge accusation and we can sue you for that, Mrs Garcia..” she added.

The lobby became eerily silent after that as if everyone was waiting for the old woman’s response. But the old woman was too dense and absorbed in her delusion that she did not notice the growing audience around and continued with her lies.

“You are filing a lawsuit against me for telling the truth?”

“Truth? Your son was drunk-driving. He was lucky enough that there was no people there and got hit or else he will go to jail after he recovered”
