Fortunately, Sue did not ask further questions and just silently started the car again after she said that. He drove quite fast and they quickly reached Liana’s hotel in no time.

“What are we going to do here?” he queried when she immediately stepped out of the car as soon as he parked it in front of the entrance.

She did not answer, instead she walked inside the entrance, leaving him puzzled.

“Wait for me!” Sue quickly gave the key to the valet then ran after her.

Margaux did not look back. She just kept on walking until she reached the elevator. She ignored all the meaningful stares of the people she walked past with and let her eyes look straight ahead.

“Since when did you walk so fast?” Sue complained.

The elevator door was about to close when suddenly a woman shouted ‘wait’ which her cousin quickly pressed the open button to let the woman in for the last minute.

“Thank you! I’m in a hurry because I might not catch my boyfriend if I take the next trip,” the woman enthusiasti
