Chapter 236: Spill

Margaux went home in a very bad mood. She walked straight to the living room where her parents were waiting and slumped on the sofa adjacent to her parents.

“What took you so long?” her father inquired.

Her jaw clenched as she did not want to recall what happened in the parking lot of the hospital. But she knew her father won’t start whatever he wanted to talk with her, that’s why she was forced to tell them what happened minus the identity of the victim.

She purposely excluded the part that it was Hendrix for she did not want the topic about him to be long. Her mood had depleted drastically and all she wanted to do was be alone and take her mind off of him.

“I offered, but he declined,” she answered curtly.
