Hendrix kept clenching his fists too tightly. He could already feel his palms getting wet because of the wound on it as his nails were digging into it.

“So, are you going to cooperate?” Leila threw the question as though it was a business proposal for a multi-million dollar project. But in reality it was just about him and Margaux.

She was trying to convince him to participate in Daisy's strange plan. Because the woman thought that deceiving her cousin was a great idea to know if she still meant everything that she said to him or she was just lying.
