“This is not a hunch, this is the truth,” Daisy continued. “She won’t be mad like that if she was not affected by your act earlier. And she wouldn’t feel that way if she didn’t care..”

Hendrix didn’t know what to react. He did not expect that coming at all. Pursing his lips, his eyes went back outside the window as his mind flew somewhere.

‘Margaux still has feelings for me?’ he thought.

His chest stammered as his heart was jumping in delight. It uplifted his mood in an instant and suddenly, all his lost hope came back like a newborn baby who just came out of the womb.

“Even though I just said that she changed a lot, she’s still the cousin that grew up with me. I may not have predicted her outburst but I can certainly understand the reason for it..” Daisy said.
