Chapter 208: Lunch

Margaux tapped the steering wheel with her fingers. The car was already parked in front of Liana’s hotel. She even got angry at Daisy for choosing that place earlier, but after her cousin explained that it was the safest place to meet with the person hiding from the authorities, her anger subsided a little. But still she was annoyed.

She had been sitting there inside her unmoving car for five minutes already but she felt like stepping out of it was hard. She suddenly questioned herself what she was doing there as she didn’t know what came up to her and just agreed with her cousin’s ridiculous idea.

‘Did Daisy learn some voodoo tricks?’ she asked herself.

That woman was seriously good at manipulating people to do what she wanted and it was a little terrifying as she thought about it now. She said it before that Daisy can make a living for it and she had just proved it to her at that moment.

Letting out an exasperated sigh, she finally unlocked the door and was about to open it.
