What a jerk !

" Hey dude ! Where are you ?! " asked Nolan on the phone .

" I just woke up ! The party yesterday was crazy . " said Edward with a smirk .

" Oh , it seems like you enjoyed it ! I asked because I was worried . I didn't see you anymore after you left . Where did you go ?! " asked Nolan while looking at some files .

" I was kidnapped by a sexy girl . She asked me to be a prisoner in her bedroom yesterday and as a gentleman , I couldn't possibly refuse . Could I ?! " said Edward with a smile .

" You're right ! If you refused , it would have hurt the girl's feelings but.....was she that hot ?! " said Nolan .

" Yeah ! Damn , she was both hot and very proactive..... " said Edward and while talking with Nolan on the phone he didn't look carefully at the road nor did he notice that there was a person in the road .

" Oh , shit ! " said Edward when he lifted his eyes up and looked at the road he noticed the woman in front of him and tried his best to stop the car .

The weird thing was that the brakes weren't working .

At that moment a girl standing on the sidewalk headed towards the woman on the main road .

' Oh no ! Now there are two of them . Agh ! This damn automatic button , why doesn't it work ?!  ' thought Edward with a worried expression .

He realized that the brakes were broken and he decided to use the automatic program to stop the car . When he pressed the button , the car would stop in only 20 seconds time .

Edward looked at the two people in front of him and noticed that the girl pulled the woman towards her then turned around and hit the left front angle of his car with her right leg in order to push the lady towards the sidewalk .

Placing her feet at the angle of the car which was fast made her lose balance . When she was about to fall on the ground , she used her right hand and pushed herself up . The people around looked at her amazed and even Edward was amazed by her swift moves .

Some of the amazed faces vanished when the car stopped on the hole with dirty water which splashed the girl's leg and butt part from behind . Edward couldn't hold himself from laughing when he saw her butt and legs covered with dirty brown water . Some other people also couldn't hold back their laughs .

' She looks like she has pooped in her pants !.....' thought Edward who lowered his head and started to laugh .

" Hey , bro ! Edward !....Edward , are you alright buddy ?! " asked Nolan a bit worried when he heard the noises around .

" I....I....am fine Nolan . Talk to you later ! " said Edwards who couldn't skip a laugh .

After closing the call with Nolan he sneakily started to take a picture of that girl from behind opened the door then got out of his car .

" Mam , are you alright now ?! " asked Claire with a sincere smile .

" I am alright but...you... " said the rich-looking woman with a worried tone when she saw her trainers wet with dirty water .

" That's good to hear . Now please stand on the sidewalk . " said Claire and turned towards the car with an angry tone .

" Hey you ! Don't you watch where you are going ?! " said Claire with an angry tone .

The people around looked at Edward with a surprised expression . The girls all started to blush and the other people were charmed by his good looking .

' Wow , he is very handsome !....No , Claire ! This jerk , embarrassed you in front of all these people . You cannot be deceived by his good looks ! ' thought Claire with a surprised expression then shook her head and cleared her thoughts .

" What were you saying miss ?! " said Edward with a laugh when he saw her .

" You even have the nerve to laugh after splashing that dirty water on me ?!.....You're such a jerk ! " said Claire with an annoyed expression .

" Didn't you look where you were going ?! You almost gave me a heart attack ! " said the rich looking woman .

" I am very sorry madam ! Tell me how can I compensate you ?! " said Edward with a gentleman's smile .

" Wait.......that face !.....Are you.....little Ed ! " said the woman with half a smile .

" Yeah ! If I am not mistaken you are......madam Collen ?! " asked Edward with a smile .

" Yes ! Oh my ?!........Are you little Ed ?! My dear Edward , I have missed you a lot ! How many years has it been ?! " said madam Collen .

" It has been a lot madam Collen ! I am glad to see you again . " said Edward .

" I am in a hurry to go to the mayor's house . Since you are here , you shall give me a lift there . " said madam Collen and went towards Edward's Lamborghini .

" As you say ! " said Edward with a smile and went towards the driver's seat .

Claire looked at them with a shocked expression . She couldn't believe that they were still so calm around each other after nearly causing an accident . Especially madam Collen's attitude towards Edward . She looked really friendly with him .

' He knows her ?! She knows him ?! They seem friendly........then........Why the hell did he almost smash her with his car ?!........Rich people are way too crazy for normal ones like me . ' thought Claire and got her bag then was about to leave .

The sight of madam Collen and Edward somehow started to get on her nerves .

" Hey you ! " said madam Collen and Claire turned her head towards her with a confused expression to make sure whether she was calling for her .

" Ahhhhh......I am talking to you ! Don't look so surprised ! Come with us ! I need to repay you for saving me . " said madam Collen .

" What ?! No way madam Collen ! I can't let a girl drenched in dirty water that smells sit in my expensive car . It will ruin it . " said Edward with a serious tone .

" You better shut up little Ed ! You nearly crushed me with this expensive car of yours . If you don't want me to tell your mother about this then you better stay quiet and do as I say . " said madam Collen and looked at Claire .

' At least she has the conscience to be aware of the situation . If I were in her place , I would grab the boy's hair and smash his head on the ground . He deserves it for having such poor eyesight to not even see the road clearly . ' thought Claire .

" Girl.....can you please enter ?! I am in a hurry so..... " said madam Collen with a smile .

" No mam ! It's alright ! Thank you for the good thought but I.....don't think it is necessary . " said Claire with a burdened smile .

" You saved me from little Ed's recklessness . I just wanna thank you the proper way . So , please enter and don't waste any more time or I will tell the mayor that it was your fault I was late today . " said madam Collen with a pressuring and threatening smile .

Claire thought that it would be better if she kept her mouth shut and listened to her because she didn't look like a person that could be taken lightly . When she saw how politely , the jerk owner of the Lamborghini was , she didn't think twice about entering his car . Edward didn't like the fact that Claire entered his car but he couldn't do anything about it since he was at fault first for not seeing the road well and almost crashing madam Collen . Madam Collen poi ted at the front seat and Claire sat there . When Edward started the car , the atmosphere became strangely silent .

' ufffffff...........my poor Lamborghini !...... ' thought Edward with a dejected expression .

' uffffff..........my lesson....it must have started now !....... ' thought Claire with a dejected expression .

" What a mess ! " said Claire and Edward at the same time surprising madam Collen who was sitting in the backseat . 

" Are you copying me ?  " said Claire and Edward at the same time as they looked at each other annoyed and surprised . 

" Look at you two ! You are so in synchronization with each other . I am impressed little Ed . " said madam Collen with a smirk .

" I am surprised too . Maybe she is trying to repeat my words . " said Edward .

" Why would I...... ? " said Claire .

" Because I am perfect . Girls do that all the time . " said Edward with a troubled expression .

" Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror ?  " said Claire .

" I have and I look extremely handsome . " said Edward with a smirk .

" I think you should take a look at your ugly soul beneath your handsome face . " said Claire annoyed .

" I think you have a serious eye problem that prevents you from seeing clearly . " said Edward .

" The one with an eye problem is you . " said Claire annoyed .

" Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ! " laughed madam Collen looking at their bickering in a funny way . She couldn't help but feel amazed .

It was the first time in years that she had seen Edward behave in such a way with a girl . She only saw the girls lying towards his arms and never saw a girl give him such a response or being annoyed at him . It was quite the sight for her .
