Claire looked through the window while Edward was focused on driving . Madam Collen looked at the two of them then turned her face towards Claire .

" Young girl ! What's your name ? " asked madam Collen .

" My name is Claire , madam . " said Claire with a smile .

" Claire ! What a beautiful name ! It means bright and clear ! You must be a bright girl . " said madam Collen with a smile .

" Thank you a lot for the compliment . " said Claire with a smile .

" I saw that you were holding a bag . Do you go to school ?! " said madam Collen .

" Yeah ! I am in university . " said Claire .

" Really ?! Good ! Young girls who study are the best . " said madam Collen .

" Thank you for your praise madam Collen . " said Claire with a smile .

" Little Ed ! Pull the car over here ! " said madam Collen and pointed near a boutique .

" Why ?! I will send you straight at the door . " said Edward .

" I will go by myself since it isn't too far away . " said madam Collen .

" Okay ! " said Edward and parked the car where madam Collen wanted .

When the car stopped , Claire got out first then madam Collen and Edward got out of the car . Madam Collen opened her purse and took a credit card out of it then gave it to Claire . Claire looked at it with a surprised expression .

" Madam Collen ?!....This...?! " said Claire with a surprised expression while holding the card .

" See this boutique here my dear ?! I want you to buy a completely new outfit . From your head to your sneakers , want you to buy a whole new outfit , bag , trainers , scarf , gloves , everything ! Do you understand ?! " said madam Collen .

" No ! No ! I cannot accept this , I am sorry ! Here ! I need to go to my university . " said Claire with a polite smile and hurried to place the card in madam Collen's hand .

" Girl ! As my savior , I have no intention of letting you go to your university like that . " said madam Collen and looked at the mark , the dirty water had left on her trousers .

" It's really not necessary..... " said Claire and tried once again to give her the card .

Madam Collen looked at her watch and noticed that she didn't have any more time .

" I am late ! I need to go now or I will be very late !....... " said madam Collen with a smile .

" Wha about the card ?! " asked Claire while holding the card .

" Let's meet here tomorrow at this time . I will take the card then . Bye !! Oh , and , little Edward ! Make sure she buys what I just said . " said madam Claire .

" But I have some work...... " said Edward but madam Collen looked at him with a pressuring smile .

" That won't be necessary madam Collen ! I can go on my own . " said Claire .

" No , I don't trust you ! Do you want me to tell , what happened , to your mother ?! " said madam Collen with a threatening , innocent smile .

" ....No ! I will accompany her to buy the clothes . " said Edward with a forced smile .

" Good boy ! I have to go now , bye ! " said madam Collen and went towards the major's house which was two stores away from the boutique where Edward had parked the car .

After madam Collen left , Edward and Claire looked at each other with an annoyed expression . Claire went to the boutique and Edward followed her from behind .

" Monkey girl ! Don't create more trouble for me than you already did ! We need to go together to the boutique . " said Edward .

" Don't worry ! I won't create trouble so why don't you get the hell lost ?! " said Claire with a fake smile .

" You are meeting madam Collen tomorrow and you are telling me to not come with you . Do you intend to spy on me at madam Collen ?! No way ! " said Edward with a smirk .

Claire looked at him to see if he was serious about what he just said and walked towards the boutique sighting . The two of them went inside the boutique and looked around . Edward looked at Claire from head to toe and at her bag .

" What is it ?! " asked Claire when she saw him looking at her .

" You are a sporty type . This cute girl stuff won't fit a tomboy like you . " said Edward .

" I can choose what I can wear ! I don't need your help . " said Claire .

" Don't worry , I will let you choose the underwear yourself . " said Edward and winked at her .

" You pervert ! " said Claire and walked away from him .

After going inside the girl's section , Claire started to look around for some clothes that would fit her personality .

" Hey ! If you don't let me choose the clothes I will choose your underwear . Be clear about that ! " whispered Edward in Claire's ears .

' A poor girl like her doesn't know much about branded clothes and what to choose . If madam Collen doesn't see her inexpensive clothes then I am done for . She will report all to mom and my cars will all get confiscated . I already am in trouble for going to parties every night and not paying attention to work . ' thought Edward with a troubled expression .

" Can you get away from me you pervert ?! " said Claire with a startled expression .

" It will be my utmost pleasure to never see you again after we finish here . " said Edward then looked around for the saleswoman .

" Hello sir , miss ! What can I do for you ? " asked the saleswoman when she saw Edward .

' I didn't wanna bother with this woman . She looks poor and her clothes are dirty but this guy is so hot and looks extremely rich . Apparently, this girl is with him so I gotta serve them . What a pity ! ' thought the saleswoman .

" Hello ! I want the set of a sportive outfit........the latest model of Louis Vuitton brand . Guess branded scarf and a Polo branded bag . Also a pair of gloves and trainers , Tommy Hilfiger branded . " said Edward with a smile .

" Right away sir ! " said the saleswoman with a polite tone and glared at Claire .

' Did she just glare at me ?! ' thought Claire with a surprised expression and kept looking at her from behind when she left .

" What are you looking at ?! " asked Edward .

" Did she glare at me just now ?! " asked Claire and looked at Edward .

" Maybe because your clothes are dirty . " said Edward .

" Who should I thank for that ?! Huh ?! " said Claire with an annoyed expression .

" You better go and choose your underwear now ! Remember the brand names I just said now ?! " said Edward who was enjoying making fun of her .

" Do you take me as a stupid person ?! I know all the brands of expensive clothes . " said Claire with an angry tone .

" Have you ever bought real branded clothes ?! " asked Edward .

" No ! " said Claire with a non-caring tone .

" Then I think that my answer was more than justified . " said Edward with a smirk .

" You're just a jerk who's rich that's why you are so arrogant . You wouldn't be able to survive one day if you were to be a poor person . " said Claire with a serious expression .

" There's no ' if ' in this world , monkey girl . " said Edward .

" Jerk ! " said Claire and went towards the underwear section .

While Claire and Edward finished their business , madam Collen had already arrived at the major's house . The servants opened the door and accompanied madam Collen to the room where the major and his wife were .

" It's a pleasure to see you here Collen ! " said the major , Ben .

" Welcome , Collen ! " said the major's wife , Lina .

" Me too , I am glad to see the both of you again . " said madam Colen with a smile .

" I told my lawyer to prepare the documents . How about we take our time and chat a little ?! " said the major with a polite smile .

" Sure ! Catch up to the old times . " said madam Collen with a serious expression .

" I will join you , after the tea is prepared . " said Lina with a smile and left madam Collen with the major .

" How have you been lately , madam Collen ? " said the major . 

" Same as always...........I am worried about Henry's health . I contacted the doctors just now . They told me that things weren't good . I was so angry , I couldn't stand them  . " said madam Collen .

" They contacted me too . They told me to be mentally prepared . " said the major with a sad expression . 

" Why......Why did it have to happen now ? Why did he have to get sick when his younger son disappeared ?...........That snake wife of his son is not gonna let this slide easily . They can't wait for him to die and take his empire . " said madam Collen with an annoyed expression .

" .........They are in Henry's favor because of the accident that happened three years ago .  " said the major .

" His immense wealth...........if they get their hands on it , it would be a disaster . " said the major with a worried expression .

" ........He he he ! Guess who I saw today . " said madam Collen with a smile .

" Who ? " said the major curious .

" Little Ed ! He had become a very handsome young man . " said madam Collen .

" He is still he same . Hasn't matured even one bit ! You know , just because of his carelessness , he nearly crushed me with his car . Luckily a girl saved me . " said madam Collen .

" What ? Where is that brat ? I will teach him a good lesson . How could he not keep his eyes on the road properly ?!.........How can you talk so calmly about it ? " said the major angry .

" I got to see a good scene so it's fine . " said madam Collen .

" A good scene ? " said the major confused .

" Yes ! The girl who saved me is actually immune towards little Ed's charms . " said madam Collen .

" What ?.......I  can only apploud that girl , as the only one being able to stand firm against him....... " said the major surprised and pleased at the same time .

" True ! I thought the same thing too . " said madam Collen .

" .....Hahhh ! He used to be such a good kid. Why did he end up like this ? " said the major with a concerned expression .

" Living in a family that accuses you day and night of the disappearance of a dear person isn't easy . I can understand little Ed's behavior . " said madam Collen .

" The poor boy doesn't have it easy either . Still , you need to be more careful . " said the major with a serious tone .

" I am fine so stop nagging me . " said madam Collen .

" Even aging hasn't helped you at all . Still the same brat as always . " said the major .

" And you still the same serious boy . " said madam Collen .

The door knocked and Lina came inside followed by the maid that was holding the tray with the hot tea .

" Lina , your husband is being mean . " said madam Collen .

" Ha ha ha  ! The two of you are still the same as always .  " said Lina with a smile looking at them with a smile .

" .....Anyway , we need to get serious . " said madam Collen .

" Stop right there madam Collen ! I don't need to hear any more of this . My answer is no . " said the major .

" Oh come on ! Without our support , little Ed has no chance of winning against that snake . " said madam Collen .

" Better let the snake inherit the family's fortune rather than a brat who nearly caused you to end up in the hospital . " said the major .

" Little Ed hasn't had a moment of peace since his uncle disappeared . His reckless behavior is the only way for him to breathe some air in that messy family . "

The major looked at madam Collen and couldn't deny her words but at the same time he didn't feel at peace with having Edward inheriting Henry's empire .

" ......We are talking about billions of dollars Collen...........How can we help that troublemaker get all of this wealth and spend it on useless stuff ? " said the major with a serious expression .

" I know that you are worried about Henry's work . He dedicated his life to strengthening the business of his father . Little Ed will not spend his grandfather's fortune recklessly . With our help , we can make sure that Henry's legacy carries on through him . " said madam Collen with a sincere tone .

" I also agree with Collen , honey . " said Lina .

The major looked at his wife and madam Collen then nodded his head .

" Alright ! " said the major .
