" Great ! " said Collen with a smile and high-fived with Lina .

' These two women are the only ones to whom I cannot bring myself to say no . ' thought the major with a troubled expression .

After a few minutes , Claire changed her clothes and came out of the changing room . Edward took his eyes from his phone then remained surprised when he saw Claire .

" What are you looking at ? " said Claire with a doubtful expression .

" I am amazed by my own sense of fashion . I managed to turn an ugly duckling into a beauty . " said Edwards with a smirk looking at her from head to toe .

" Narcist ! " said Claire annoyed .

While she went to pay for the clothes , another saleswoman who clearly looked fascinated by him started to show him a new product . She had unbuttoned her shirt on her chest part a bit then stared at him with flirtatious expressions .

" Here ! You are at least smart enough to pay by yourself . " said Edward handing her the card while staring at the saleswoman with a smirk .

' Phhh......What a jerk ! How come girls are so influenced by him ?! He is handsome , okay but this is too much . ' thought Claire with a confused expression .

She took the card annoyed then went to make the payment .

" Can I add you on We-Chat ? " said the saleswoman .

" Sure cute girl but I will be staring at your photo for long so I may answer a bit late . " said Edward winking at her .

" No worried handsome ! " said the saleswoman winking at him .

Edward walked towards Claire then saw a nice hairclip with a grey gem then thought it would suit her and took it .

" What a caring boyfriend ! You sure are a lucky girl . " said the saleswoman when she saw him pick the hairpin from behind .

" He is not my boyfriend ! He is not even my friend ! He is an annoying pet that has been stuck with me . I will finally get rid of him after finish shopping here . " said Claire with a stern expression .

" I.......I......see ! " said the saleswoman with a nervous smile .

" She belongs to the primitive era  . Don't mind her .  " said Edward with a devilish smirk .

" Hah ? Is your behavior considered a civilized one ? " said Claire .

" The way I see it it's better than being old-fashioned . " said Edward .

" Thank you ! " said Claire ignoring Edward and taking the bags with the clothes she was wearing before coming to the store .

She went ahead out of the store and Edward followed her from behind .

" Here ! " said Claire and gave him the card .

" I thought you would have bought something more . " said Edward with a serious expression .

" No need ! Now that we are finished , I have to go . Stay safe and far , far away from me . " said Claire .

" Wait there miss monkey ! " said Edward and grabbed her from her shirt .

" What are you doing ? " said Claire annoyed .

" .....Here ! I don't like you . I think you are too old-fashioned , annoying and..... " said Edward but Claire stopped him .

" If you dare say hypocrite for money I swear I will slap you . " said Claire pointing her finger at him .

Edward grabbed her hand annoyed and handed her the hairclip he bought her .

" ........How come you were the one that saved madam Collen when you are such a stupid crazy monkey girl ?.............This is to thank you for saving her . " said Edward with an annoyed expression . 

" How come she is a close family friend with a person who nearly crushed her with his car ?........Anyway , I will accept this . " said Claire looking at the grey hairclip with the letter C in a gen form .

" It was an accident...........This is to be sure I pay back for saving her . " said Edward .

" Heh......just because I gave you that hairclip doesn't mean you can think the weird fantasy of falling for me . " said Edward when seeing that Claire did like the hairclip .

" I rarely see nightmares so rest assured . Also , I will accept this not to clear your conscience but to be reminded of today's incident . If I ever happen to meet someone from your family one day , it could be a good bargain chip for me . How much will I be able to earn ? " said Claire with a serious expression .

" Phhh.........Didn't you say that you would slap me if I called you a hypocrite for money a few minutes ago ? Now , you are admitting your true thoughts . I knew you were a gold digger . Playing the nice girl just to make others think well of you and fall in your weed . " said Edward with a forced smirk .

" I need to clarify something for you . I am not a hypocrite for money person but when I see such a rich jerk like you , I can't help but feel pity that you have so much money when you don't deserve it . A good person deserves money so I don't mind being a golddigger in this case . " said Claire with a smirk .

" Never Crazy monkey girl.......Crazy monkey girl ! " said Edward .

" You have no call on this . " said Edward annoyed .

" I guess it's not your call either . I will come to you when I need am in a difficult financial situation . " said Claire .

" You have no proof . With what are you so sure you can make any accusations to me . " said Edward with an arrogant smirk .

Claire laughed a little then took her phone out and showed Edward the video of him nearly crushing madam Collen with his car .

" You......Give me that ! " said Edward annoyed .

" No can do ! You can't even touch it . " said Claire .

" How did you get that ? " asked Edward .

" I have my ways too . Furthermore , there was a large audience staring at us . I can add witnesses too . " said Claire with a smirk .

" You crazy monkey , I will....... " said Edward but his phone and Claire's phone both started to ring .

" Hello ! " answered the two of them at the same time .

" What ? I will be there right now . " said the two of them confused then glared at each other .

" Stop copying me ! " said the two of them again .

" This is crazy ! Stop it already ! " said the two of them glaring at each other .

" I hope I never see you again . " said Edward .

" Same here mr . Just hope I do not run into financial problems . " said Claire and walked ahead , leaving Edward alone .

' Damn her ! Such an unlucky day ! I already have problems with my family , let alone having her near too . That bastard Nolan ! It's all his fault and now he asks me to even come to his rescue...............Haaaaahhh ! I will help him out first then punish him severely . ' thought Edward annoyed then headed out of the mall .

He opened the door to his car and entered then headed to the location Nolan sent him . At the same time , Claire rushed to her friend's location in a hurry . A few minutes later , Edward's car arrived . He came out of his car and entered the building while looking at his phone .

" Where the heck is this guy ? What is he doing in a place like this ? " said Edward looking around annoyed as he was searching for Nolan .

" Bro !!! " spoke a voice from behind .

When Edward turned his face towards the voice he saw that it was Nolan .

" What's the trouble ? " said Edward stopping Nolan from hugging him .

" Why are you being so cold bro ? You were fine this morning . " said Nolan not understanding why he was so annoyed .

" Everything was fine until the moment you called me . You made this morning the worst morning in my life . " said Edward with an annoyed expression .

Claire arrived at the meeting place and was able to see her friend standing in front of a machine that looked like a stage with huge boxes .

" Claire ! You are finally here . " said her friend and hugged her tightly .

" I only came because you said that the teacher got sick and it was declared a vacation day . " said Claire with a smile .

" You little nerd ! It's good to take a break from time to time . " said her friend smiling .

" Carol , you should know better than others the reason why I am a hardworking nerd . " said Claire poking her forehead .

" He he he ! I know ! I know ! I won't say it anymore . Now , my idol of fast learning , please help me . " said Carol .

" You said that it was an urgent situation . " said Claire looking at her doubtfully .

A few meters away Edward and Nolan were coming in their direction . When Edward saw Claire's back he immediately recognized her .

" I can't believe it . Is this a curse ?........Why does this girl appear everywhere I go today ? We just separated a while ago . " said Edward annoyed .

" Bro , is she your new girl ? " said Nolan when looking at Claire .

" What new girl ?! Are you cursing me ? " said Edward punching his arm .
