Half the room was on their feet applauding her. A few men whistled which was followed by some catcalling. Beverly had gotten that reaction after her performance, but Chelsea thought hers was louder. Then again, it could have been her imagination.

Her sisters and friends were still clapping and cheering when she got off stage.

“You should have taken a bow,” Shelby said with a grin.

“No reason to push my luck,” Chelsea said.
