ISABELLA'S POV

Pierce got up and moved towards my desk. “I've known Hannah since we were kids. She's quiet, but cunning. Sometimes I'm afraid of her wit.” She started, running her hands over my sketch supplies. She picked up a pencil, examining the sharpened end.

“She also knows how to take perfect advantage of situations. And apparently, you do too.” She added, walking back towards the bed. She motioned for me to sit. I quietly walked over and sat on the bed, my weight forcing the mattress inside a bit.

“How come I haven't seen you around here yet?” I asked, genuinely curious. I had met Korra, although that was out of coincidence, but I'm certain that if Pierce was around here, she would have at least shown herself once or twice.

I've been here almost three weeks already.

“I don't work in the house. I'm part of the security team. Maxwell has an entire network of security cameras all over the estate. I'm part of the people that survey and report any abnormalities to him.” She said in
