Chapter 90

The rest of the week went the same as Monday until Friday morning. I was sitting on the front porch of the pack house with my mate waiting for my Uncle Ace and Aunt Piper to arrive. We received the mind link from the gate guards that they are on pack grounds, so I knew they would be here shortly. Alpha Matthew and Luna Jessie walked out to the porch and Joshua and I took our places beside them. At that moment, two SUVs parked in front of the house and it looked like Aunt Piper didn’t wait for the vehicle to stop before her door opened and she ran out. I giggled like a schoolgirl as she ran to us without waiting for her mate, her giggle matching mine.

When she reached us, I took her hands into mine and then wrapped my arms around her in a hug, “Aunt Piper! I’m so glad you’re here.” Uncle Ace caught up with her and hugged me tightly as he whispered in my ear, “The mission was a complete success.” I laughed out loud, “Yes, it was!” We laughed as Aunt Piper looked at us with narrowed eyes
