I gasped as I heard him say his name, “Tommy?!” He nodded as he opened his arms for a hug. I stepped into his arms and I could feel the family bond snap into place. I looked at his face, “I knew I recognized you from somewhere.” He laughed, “I knew you as soon as I saw you. The hair was a dead giveaway. Your mom swore to my mom she would never cut your hair. My mom loved it and your mom always wanted to please her older sister.” I smiled, “I always wondered why I had an aversion to cutting my hair, but I ended up having to make a compromise.
