Chapter Three

Jocelyns POV

"When I was in my junior year of high school I was walking home" I started explaining. "It was raining and I was listening to music. Then I was struck by lightening" I said pulling my hair back so they could see my scars. Antonio held my gaze while Lorenzo and Mateo looked at my scars. "I was in the hospital for a while. When I woke up I started to hear people talking in my head but their lips weren't moving." I added to my story. "Then whenever they would touch my hand I would see their memories" I continued. Antonio nodded his head slowly. "So what made you decide to rob my bank?" He asked.

I couldn't help but smirk at that question which caused him to glare a little bit. I shrugged my shoulders and sighed "Well I found out my dad was cheating on my mom with one of my nurses. My parents got divorced and things were tough for a while" I said. "So I started to use the mind reading and memories to my advantage so we could make ends meet" I finished. Antonio just held my gaze for a bit before he spoke again.

"Sueltala (Release her)" Antonio said still holding my gaze. "Seguro, Tony (You sure Tony)?" Lorenzo asked. "Si (Yes)" Antonio replied. Lorenzo came over and undid the restraints on my wrists and ankles. I immediately pulled a wrist to my chest and rubbed the sore skin. "Why are you releasing me?" I asked curiously. "Because  you're going to help us with something" Antonio said with a smirk. "Estas seguro de eso, Alfa (You sure about that Alpha)?" Lorenzo asked. Antonio looked to his Beta "Es al unica que pudo averiguar donde esta (She's the only one who could find out where it is)" Antonio said.

I simply looked between the two men as they argued. "Any one want to tell me what's going on?" I asked. Antonio looked back to me and started to explain. "Our enemy, The Bright Sky Pack, tricked us into a peace treaty. You're going to help us find the treaty so it can be destroyed" he said. "Why do you want it destroyed?" I asked him. "It makes no difference to you. You will help us or we'll kill you for attempting to rob us" Antonio said. I could feel this weird energy in the room and it seemed to be emanating from Antonio. It felt like I couldn't say no, and not just because he threatened my life. 

"O...okay" I said. "Excellent. Now Mateo will show you show you to your room" He said standing up and leaving the room. "Come on gorgeous let's get you out of here" Mateo said with a big smile. I couldn't help but return it, he was so different from the other two. I stood up and followed him out of my cell and up a set of stairs. My eyes widened as I looked around the giant living room. They had four flat screen televisions mounted on the wall with five couches in a big u shape. I noticed that there were people sitting around talking and playing video games. Some of the guys would smirk and look me over but Mateo would glare and they would immediately look away.

Just behind the living room I could see a large open kitchen with five rows of long picnic like tables set up. We made our way to the second floor and I was given the third door on the left. "Here you are. If you want I can have my mate come by tomorrow to take you shopping for some new clothes" Mateo offered. "I have clothes at my house" I said. "Oh okay then we'll have someone escort you tomorrow" He said shutting the door. Before it was completely closed though he popped his head back in. "Oh by the way don't even think about trying to run. We;re wolves we can hear better and out run you" He said with a smirk before closing the door.

I sighed and looked around my new room. The bed was a king size bed and I took a seat on it. "Holy shit that's comfy" I muttered. The sheets felt amazing and were a deep red color. I walked over to a door in the room. When I opened the door there was a decent sized walk in closet which was empty...for now. I walked over to the other door there and my jaw dropped. It was a black and white marble bathroom. It had a rain fall standing shower with glass doors. There was also a jacuzzi style bath tub that had jets in it. "Oh that will be nice" I said. I let out a big yawn and went back to the bed.

I woke up the next morning with a happy stretch. This was a seriously comfy bed and I couldn't wait to take a nap later. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower before wrapping myself in a large soft towel. I walked back out of the bathroom and sighed looking at my dirty clothes. I really didn't want to put them back on. I walked out of my room still in the towel and went up the stairs. I reached the third floor and saw about four doors on each side of the hall. I wondered which to knock on and just went to the first door. I knocked and Lorenzo opened the door. My jaw dropped and his eyes widened. Not only did he have a gorgeous face but his body was to die for as well.

His biceps and shoulders bulged and screw a six pack. This delicious made had an eight pack if that was possible. He was standing in the door way in nothing but a pair of skin tight boxer briefs. I couldn't stop myself from looking down at his very impressive package. I heard him clear his throat and my gaze snapped up to see him smirking. "Uh sorry I just need to borrow some clothes. Mateo said he had uh a 'mate'?" I said. "Ah yeah I'll see if she has anything in your size. Come in trust me you don't want any unmated males seeing you like this" He said. I couldn't help but notice him looking me over as well. "We wouldn't want that would me?" I asked making my way past him and took a seat on his bed. "Oh diosa mia (Oh my Goddess)" I heard him mutter before he walked out the door.
