When Dillon opened the door to LITT-man's Jewelers(bad pun, he knew. Was it even a pun?), he was greeted with quite the beautiful sight. A million tiny glints of light behind glass counters danced as he moved like so many shiny fish in an aquarium. The entire store was well maintained and picture-perfect. It was one of the most high end places he'd ever set foot in. Was he the gay equivalent of 'Pretty Woman'?! Perhaps. He was glad he chose this place. Although, he was a little confused with his own choice. Did he even like jewelry? It was alright, he supposed. He did have his ears pierced and wore sterling silver and cubic zirconia studs his folks got him in Wildwood. That was it though. Regardless, he thought it necessary to examine the establishment's wares, for they were shiny. Tony followed him in and seemed just as impressed with the place as he was. It was like a different universe to the both of them. Neither came from money or knew anything of what the high life had to offe
The snobbish sales lady came back over with a small pink slip of paper. She moved the two trays of sword-chains closer together. On each were two identical sets of the twelve birthstone colours. Why she had two trays of them out, he didn't know. She pointed to one with the light blue stone. It really was quite beautiful and it spoke to him even more than the display set with the red stone. Damn, he was excited. His guy was indescribably, ridiculously awesome! "Oh, hi there! Is this special for you?" She asked in a sickeningly sweet tone. The lady was probably an alright person, but Dillon had qualms with upper crust people. "Y-yes, uh- it's my birthday today." "A Christmas eve baby! Oh my gosh my niece was born on the twenty-sixth!" He had heard the 'Christmas eve baby' crap countless times. Also, who the hell cares when the lady's niece was born? "So, me and your friend here-" "Boyfriend," Dillon said with a small smile. He glanced at Tony, who blushed furiously. Why the fu
There was no shortage of things to see as they made their way back to the subway station. It was almost midnight, so the crowds had cleared drastically. Drastically enough that Tony reached out and grabbed his hand gently. That was a surprise. He wasn't sure if he minded it or not. Why was Tony like this tonight? It was like he had morphed into a different Tony. He was very, very sweet and Dillon liked that, but in small doses. Just then, he looked over as Tony spoke up. "So, what drew yer eye to that chain? It's real sharp, man," he asked casually. "Oh yea! Well, I saw it and it was like it literally called to me. The sword- jeez this sounds so gross and mushy- but the sword represents 'you'. Yer the demon slayer after all. You protect 'me', represented by the chain, and I support you like the chain supports the pendant. We take care of each other, see?" Dillon gently pulled the pendant out from under his shirt and admired it. "The three colours of gold on both the chain and p
December 25th, 2010: Saturday: Winter ~~~~~~~ Tony was late. Very late. It was already almost five thirty. It was assumed that he would cut it close after he took Dillon home. Overall, they had had an awesome Christmas. The kid finally got over his conniption about Tony's affectionate moments. Perhaps because he had never really seen those sides to that extent. Once they had tried to stand in each other's shoes, each understood where the other had come from. They had both originally handled the situation poorly. They had some work to do on their communication. While they loved each other, they were very different in terms of personality so their communication needed to be on point. That would be tricky for Tony. For the moment, Tony chose to put it all out of his mind. He had to be in Philly to meet Ethan in an hour. He'd have to shoot him off a text to tell him he'd still be there. Fresh out of the shower, Tony dried himself off as he hunted for his
Tony slowly pushed in after Dillon opened up. He gave him plenty of time to adjust. Like he said, he wanted this slow and gentle. There were times when he wanted to be tender with him to show how precious he was to him. Up until then, he catered only to Dillon's desire even if Tony was the dominant one. Since their talk yesterday however, he wanted to cater to the both of them now. Dillon had accepted that, and this time Tony wanted to show him he was precious to him. As he looked up with those eyes of a similar shade to the blue topaz around his neck, Tony could tell he certainly didn't mind. Hands on the wall in front of him to steady himself, Tony went very slowly. He still expected Dillon to take him all the way down. That was a rule the both of them had established since the beginning. As Tony got close to his climax, he pulled out. He was nowhere near ready for this to end. Dillon needed to beg first. Tony wanted him to beg for release because he drove him so wild. Time to roc
The traffic was almost non-existent as Tony merged onto the Schuylkill Expressway. It was great. While he had to be wary of the 'fuzz'
The waiter arrived with their drinks and they both gave their thanks. Up until that point, Tony didn't buy any of what Ethan tried to sell him. The further he got into the story however, the more he believed him. Tony knew all of Ethan's tells that showed when he lied. He was a terrible liar to begin with, and couldn't make them up on the spot like that. Not just that, but he could see the emotions in his eyes and he felt his regret so thickly he could cut it with a knife. He knew Ethan inside and out. For the first time, Tony listened. He heard him out seriously as he continued.
Once Tony had finished the best meal he had for the second night in a row, he went to pay the bill. Ethan beat him to it, though. The bastard had his card out of his wallet and ready to go in his jeans pocket the whole time. It had made Tony feel cared about that his big brother wouldn't let him pay. He had gotten so used to the role of big brother with Dillon that he forgot what it felt like to be the little bro again. It was a nice change, not that he minded his big brother status with Dillon. Quite the contrary, actually. Once in a while though, it was nice to be treated to something. He knew that if Dillon was able to work more that he would surely treat Tony as often as he could. The kid was that kind of person.
Once the two of them had all their stuff, they got out and made their way up to the apartment. Tony was beyond content to see Dillon constantly look back at his new baby girl. There was no need for Mrs. Vera or himself to worry. The kid adored the car enough to be careful and rational in her care. Hopefully he adored it, anyway. He actually hadn't given a definitive judgment on what he thought yet.The very second Dillon unlocked his door with his new apartment key and closed it behind him, he assaulted Tony with a huge hug. The kid's jaw hit the floor when he handed that k
Tremors ran through Dillon's body as he shook with adrenaline. Air was worth more than gold as he struggled to keep up with his Sir. It was almost impossible and Dillon almost pinched his leg to tap out, but he refused. This was for Tony, and he
While they might have made up from their combined overreaction earlier, Tony's blood was hot to teach Dillon's rude mouth a lesson. Hopefully Dillon knew it wasn't for real and that it just fit perfectly into the act. The heat that he could see in Dillon's gaze when he grabbed him by the hair told him he needed him. He wanted to make it up to Tony and he
Dillon needed to clear his head. He didn't even want to look at Tony, but he couldn't go home either. The bastard didn't need to know that a night with him was too precious to give up. No, Dillon just needed to think and take some time to himself. He was terrified. Even more people knew, which meant many more points of weakness. That area of town was pretty close knit, and it wasn't impossible that it could leak to his family. Besides, that shop is where his dad took the cars for any non mechanical issue. Fuck, and all
There was no easy way to tell Dillon that half the shop knew about their relationship. The thing was, he couldn't not tell him. If he found out through one of them somehow, his reaction would be a thousand times worse because Tony didn't tell him first. For a couple beats Tony hesitated, with what felt to him like a worried expression on his face. What if Dillon hate
The bus squealed and jerked forward like the ghetto-mobile it is. The sliding door got stock three quarters of the way, which made it difficult to get his jacket and backpack through. Well regardless, he made it, and like usual, he much looked forward to a night with his guy. He didn't tell him he got the green light from his folks to stay over. Once in a while, they'd reward him with a weekday sleepover at Kat's or Tony's, so long as his chores got done and his grades were good. Which they almost always were. After he adjusted his bag and looked forward, he saw Tony on the
Tony's mind was much more at peace. Time to forge on ahead and at least fill and sand the panels for the El Camino. If he could get that done and maybe replace the headlights, taillights, and interior lights with LEDs that the owner requested, he could leave at a reasonable time. Good choice. They had gone with his recommendation to go with LEDs that appeared incande
February 14th, 2011: Monday
That concludes our walkthrough of my err- Dillon's life for the year of 2010. It had been quite the year for him, hadn't it? It was a long, arduous one for him to endure. He faced many scary moments, but stumbled upon an equal amount of wonderful moments as well. The greatest moment of which was when Tony became his. The lessons of this year will come in handy this upcoming year as well. They will definitely be needed for 2011. The challenges for Dillon will be great and unlike any he's faced ever before. Now Dillon's found the piece of himself he'd been missing at the beginning of the story in the form of Tony. That's what will make this round of challenges different from the last. New and intimidating things are often new and intimidating enough to stop people from exploring them. Dillon, as we have seen, for the most part never struggles with new things for long. He tackles them head on, as seen when he and Tony were together physically for the first time. It might have been to
