Lisa's POV

Jonas nudged me. "Looks like he stepped back outside. Maybe something threw him off."

I swallow. Good news. Right? Well, yes. It was good news. I still kept my head on Jonas' lap.

His thumb massaged my head. "You still miss him a lot, don't you?"

I sighed. You want me to say no, but I can't do that. I would only be lying to myself. " I pulled my hand away from his, feeling uncomfortable about the whole situation.
