Philip's POV

Hana's tears fell from her eyes, but she didn't let them last on her face before she brought the back of her hand and wiped her face clean from any trace of weakness. I noted that she must've cried a lot from hearing that her son had died before she came here.

She didn't have many other children, but he was surely the one who asked the most questions and actually looked forward to his own pack of his own.

Hana nodded her head despite the raging sadness that was locked inside of her. She completely abandoned her food and then opened her mouth to say something.

"It is true. She had not been the one who came directly to me."

She looked at me, "it was your sister. She had been the one who told me that Clayton was dead and it was that girl you rejected that recruited me for her."
