Of course, I've heard of Emily Forest. My question was how Steven had heard of her. Emily wasn't from a very well-known nor wealthy pack. The only thing she owned or had that favored her immensely, to an extent, was that she was Tristan's mate.

He rejected her, though, for reasons many people didn't understand. Regardless, he still showed up in her life when she needed him. One occasion was when she needed to trample some of her enemies under her feet. According to her, they had been infiltrating her land, building some structures on her land as if it was theirs.

They were neighbors, only divided by the mutual knowledge of where their lands stopped and began.
