Quin's POV

Approximately thirty minutes after Arthur's departure, my mom comes back with Echo and a guy I didn't know. I later learned that his name was Akela, and he is the pack's Omega.

I also got to learn that Akela was more open, playful and fun to be around compared to someone I have recently came to know off. When my mom came back, the house was already clean, and I was trying to find my way around the kitchen. It's been a long day and the only thing that I had eaten was breakfast from the hotel.

It's been a long day indeed.

I found macaroni, mince, mushroom, cheese, tomato paste, and some spices and my new personal favorite on the stash, mint. Luckily, it was enough to whip up a meal for all of us. Macaroni with meatballs in tomato paste cheese, the last meal that could be whipped with the ingredients of this house.
