Quin's POV

"I think those are enough questions for the day." Arthur barges into the room, interrupting us.

"How long have you been outside listening to us?" I query.

"Long enough to know that you are starting to cross the line," he emits.

"Not really no," my mom intercedes for me.

"Exactly," I add.

"Nanna, can you please wait outside? I need to talk to your daughter." he addresses her, and my heart sinks.

I wasn't ready for the talk, not after finding out I have a brother and a father, who are both alive, and that my mom was here, in a place that didn't belong to humans, and she was lying the whole time, which I have forgiven her for, but still lied about being a nurse, and that my buried father was her best friend.

Let's not forget Airing Dal, a whole nation of wolves that don't have a leader, come on.

Who would have thought a place for a people left out by the world, still existed? Whilst I'm still letting my thoughts run wild, my mom stands up and starts to leave.
