Chapter 89

I turned the headlights of the car on after I began driving the muddy road that was now becoming like a hairpin with loads of twists and turns.

After what seemed like an eternity, I saw something in the distance. A tall building that was sticking out from the rest like a sore thumb.

It appeared to be an abandoned windmill, not a house or anything else. A pale yellow light flickered on top of it.

I felt relieved that I was not going to get lost here for eternity and cranked up the ignition as I wanted to get near the place as soon as possible.

However, as a caution, I turned off the lights so as to not scare away the demon summoners if they were lurking around and preparing for the ritual.

I parked the car a bit farther from the place and drove as slowly as possible to not let them hear me. The tall yellow grass worked as an ideal cover and I parked my car behind one of the many abandoned houses that were on either side of the small street.

This place looked like an epidemic had
