Chapter 45 Escaped

"Caiden chuckled mockingly. As Nate observed everything, he thought it was imperative to end it all once and for all to prevent further harm from happening. Nate continued to hold onto Kamara as he added, "We're all very tired, Alpha. How about we take a nap and deal with this in the morning?"

Nate nearly thought the alpha would accept his suggestion as Caiden glanced at him, but he said, "I'Il take Kamara to the mountain because she wants to go there," he added, giving her an exasperated look. "Pack your belongings because we're heading out right now."
