Chapter 26 A different location

"Jessie, what you're asking me to do is ridiculous," he said angrily. "How could you suggest that?"

"Enzo my reputation and position are on the line. Do you know what the pack will say or do upon learning that someone else took your place?"

"I don't give a fuck about all that," he declared, detonating everything in his path like an atomic bomb. "When will you care more about how I'm feeling and less about what other people think?"

She recoiled and even made an attempt to go close to her brother before giving up. It was obvious that someone had to be reasonable there, and Enzo was no longer acting rationally.

Enzo finally came to a conclusion. Jessie tried to stop him by running toward him as he moved back toward the exit.

"Where are you going, Enzo?" He was forced to look into her eyes as she stopped him by pulling his arm.
