The wooden door opened and Ronald appeared.

Janita's Mom has fallen asleep, Janita signaled him not to make any sound so as not to wake her mom.

Alpha Jade was at his chamber when Ash came in, he bowed and greeted him.

"Your highness, are you available right now?" Ash asked.

"Even if I am not, I will always make time for you." Alpha Jade replied.

"Thanks for your time, it's about Chad and the money," Ash said.

"Have you found the real culprit?" Alpha Jade asked looking into his eyes.

"I think I do, I have done some investigation and you can't believe who I'm suspecting," Ash answered.

"Who's that?" Alpha Jade asked and Ash explained it to him

"Are you sure of what you are saying?" Alpha Jade asked.

"I'm not sure, I also can't believe it, that's why I will dig deep into my investigation, but everything makes sense now, I believe Chad has no idea about the whole thing, as he knew the consequences of what will happen if he tries it, but the real culprit didn't I guess," Ash replied.

"Well, he has dug himself into a deeper fire because if I find out about it, I'm sure I won't let him live to see the next day." Alpha Jade vowed.

"I will leave with your permission, I need to go and continue the investigation," Ash said.

"You can go ahead, and if you get to prove to me the mastermind behind this, then I surely will make one of your wishes come true." Alpha Jade replied.

Ash chuckled.

"Maybe you can allow me to win our race as you have been winning for ages," Ash said and Jade smirked.

"Is it not my fault that I'm faster than you, anyways if that's your wish then I will surely make it come true, just make sure you find the right person." Alpha Jade replied.

"Alright your highness, I will take my leave, do you need something?" Ash asked.

"Have you seen Luna? What's her name again?" Alpha Jade answered.

Ash laughed.

"Are you kidding me? You gotta be joking, how can you not know the name of your wife?" Ash questioned.

"Because I don't have to, I don't even care, she is annoying and a coward, and I hate people who only know how to apply tones of makeup and wear expensive jewelry and always show off she is the Luna of this pack, nothing interesting about her, honestly I don't know what the Moon goddess sees in her that makes us be mated." Alpha Jade exclaimed.

"Well, at least this pack is not left without a Luna so it is an added advantage, I saw her with her right hand in mind, she is fine," Ash said.

"Great, you can go ahead and make sure to report to me the outcome of your investigation, and make sure no one should find out about this, not even Chad." Alpha Jade warned.

"Alright your highness, take care," Ash said and smiled before exiting the chamber.

The guards outside bowed to him as he left, they do respect him as Alpha Jade adores him a lot for being a future thinker, kind, smart and gentle.

*Diane's chamber*

Diane was seated angrily on her royal couch; her favorite right-hand man Edward joined her.

"Is everything okay, malady?" He asked while she frowned.

She didn't reply, he sat next to her.

"Who dares make you angry? I can kill for you, my love." He said and she glared at him and then folded her hand.

"You can't do anything." She replied.

"Then try me." He said.

"Can you kill the Alpha?" Diane asked and his eyes changed to fear.

"I know you can't, why are you here? I'm not in the mood for anything right now, and how many times do I have to warn you to stop coming to my chamber? What if the Alpha sees us doing something? He already hates me. I'm sure he will kill us with just his eyes." Diane answered.

"C'mon my love, he can't suspect us, everyone knew I'm your right-hand man, the only thing they didn't know was we are so in love with each other, so what if the Alpha doesn't love you, I love you a lot, what's important is you are the Luna, we can get a lot of money and jewelry and for the Alpha, he can go to hell."

Edward said, bringing his face closer to her.

"No, no I can't accept this, not until you explain to me where you get this huge money," Janita said.

"You trust me, don't you? Just take it; you need it more than anything right?" Ronald asked.

"I do, but I'm not desperate for it okay, I can't accept this because I know you don't have any tangible work to do, Ronald, I don't want you to get into trouble. I love you a lot and apart from my mom, you are the only one I have." Janita answered.

"Trust me, it's clean money, I had been saving for a while now and I wanted to do something with it but nothing is as important as your mom's health that's why I decided to give it to you, believe me, it's pure," Ronald said which made her smile with joy.

"Fine, I trust you, thanks for going this extra mile for me, I love you so much." She said and he hugged her after which they kissed.

"Now that everything is fine, let's go get mom to the hospital so she can start receiving her treatment," Ronald replied.

"I don't know how to thank you, Ronald, thank you so much, you have saved my mother and forever I will be reminding you of this," Janita said and he pecked at her.

"Anything for you baby." He said and she smiled and he returned to the room.

An anonymous person who has been watching the whole scene came out of his hiding place and zoomed off.
