CHAPTER 3

Ash returned to Alpha Jade's chamber.

"Have you confirmed it to be him?" Alpha Jade questioned, his eyes fixed on the paper he was working on; he is such a workaholic Alpha that cares to remain at the top and great.

"Yes Alpha Jade, I almost couldn't believe it, it was him. I saw it clearly with my own two eyes," Ash replied.

Alpha Jade stood up.

"Maybe it is finally time for him to die then." Alpha Jade said and was about to barge out of the room and Ash quickly blocked him.

"Wait, where are you going?" He asked.

"Not your business, stay here and continue the evaluation of the market reports and make sure not to step an inch else." Alpha Jade answered.

"Else you gonna behead me, right? I wanna see you try, I know you can't do it." Ash chuckled.

"Whatever!" Alpha Jade said and stormed out to the Orchard where Ronald and a few other lowly Omegas’ are working.

Ronald's heart skipped as he saw the Alpha, but to him it was normal, yeah he did nothing wrong, and he is sure the rest of the Omegas are having the same feeling.

Alpha Jade's eyes were red, thirsty, and hungry for blood, his veins were visible and his body looked scary.

Everyone bend their heads as he walked toward them systematically, sending suicidal feelings to each of them, seeing him alone makes them think of visiting heaven early.

He stopped when he reached Ronald's place, when he felt his hand on his chest squeezing his collar, he peed immediately and his heart began beating faster like it's gonna pop out any minute.

Everyone pitied Ronald as the Alpha dragged him out of the Orchard like a piece of garbage.

When they left the place, Alpha Jade threw Ronald on the ground and he ended up landing with his butt.

"I will ask you just one question and you dare not lie to me." Alpha Jade roared.

"I swear I will do anything," Ronald replied, shaking.

"You stole the money that was supposed to be the daily income of the pack right!" Alpha Jade shouted.

"No...no...No I don't...I don't know what you are talking about...I'm..." Ronald was shut up with a heavy punch n his mouth causing him to bleed immediately.

"The truth! Now!" Alpha Jade ordered.

"I didn't steal it; I don't know what you are talking about," Ronald replied and this time Alpha Jade punched his stomach and he vomited blood again.

"I'm ready to give you the worst punishment if you don't want to admit what you did, don't allow yourself to see the other side of me coz you will end up admitted in the hospital with broken teeth, bones, and peeled skin." Alpha Jade warned.

"I didn't take the money, that was the truth, I didn't do it," Ronald said and that made Alpha Jade extremely angry, the atmosphere turned black and heavy and thunder was now striking, the crazy wind started blowing heavily causing the sands to make a chain.

Everyone in the pack knew something must be wrong, the Alpha must be so angry.

Diane saw that and she quickly got off Edward.

"What's happening my love?" Edward asked but she rushed to the window.

"Can't you see? Alpha Jade must be so angry for this to happen you should leave, this is a bad sign." Luna Diane answered.

"We are in the middle of something, we can't cut our lovemaking because of some angry Alpha that we don't even know the reason for his anger," Edward said.

"Why can't you understand? What if he heads towards this chamber? I'm also enjoying this but not now, if everything subsides, I will come to your room and we're gonna have all the night to ourselves." Diane replied with a seducing smile.

They kissed hungrily before he left the door and bade her bye by throwing her thousands of kisses before leaving.

Janita dressed her mom ready to take her to the hospital. She is waiting for Ronald because they are going there together. She wondered what must have taken him so long because he promised to leave work early so he can return.

The door opened and she went there excitedly.

"Ronald I was just...." She paused after seeing it was her best friend Agnes.

"Not expecting me ha?" Agnes asked and bounced on the already learned tent chair.

"I was expecting Ronald, but before deciding to finally destroy the chair forever, can you hug me? It has been long." Janita asked.

"No I won't, have you forgotten you promised to visit last week and I specially cooked for you but you ended up not coming?" Agnes pouted.

"Crazy, you didn't cook for me, just making that up because I know that you can't even light the stove," Janita replied.

"Okay you got me on that, but I made juice for you," Agnes said.

"Another lie, the last time you tried, you added salt in the juice to make it yummier, remember it was the reason your first boyfriend left." Janita chuckled.

"Well at least I can do something, I can fetch water from the pot, and I can also talk and have a lot of fun, it was his loss to lose a pretty lady like me, anyways are you heading somewhere? You look prepared." Agnes asked.

"Yes, I'm taking my mom to the hospital," Janita answered.

"Oh my God, how did you get to afford that? You don't have anything, not a single dime." Agnes asked.

"My boyfriend, of course, Ronald got the money and he gave it to me, am I not so lucky to have this great man as my boyfriend," Janita answered.

"That's a lot of money, hope he hasn't gotten himself into trouble because of love,” Agnes said.

"I thought about that too but he promised it was his lone-time saving and he insisted on me using it for my mom," Janita replied.

"Alright, it's fine, but that guy loves you so much to go to this extent for you, I can't believe this," Agnes said.

"And I love him too and forever I will be grateful to him," Janita replied.

"Will you escort me to the hospital?" She asked.

"Nah, I will pass that, my mother had sent me to get something for her but I will visit, I promise," Agnes answered.

"Okay, take care okay?” Janita said.

"Congratulations once again," Agnes replied and they hugged.

She walked Agnes to the door then returned and helped her mom up and they walked out of the house, she locked the wooden broken doors and set to leave the hospital with so much happiness, thinking about Ronald's sacrifice all through.

Chad visits Ash to find out more information about the person that stole half of the money.

"Greetings Ash!" Chad greeted.

"Greetings Chad, come in, have a seat," Ash replied.

"Thanks, I came here to thank you for saving me, if not for you I couldn't have known what will happen to me," Chad said.

"It's fine, it's my duty to make sure justice is served and we already found the real culprit so don't worry you are as free as a flying bird," Ash exclaimed.

"Oh my God, you found him? This is such great news. I can't wait to see the person that tried to ruin my life. Can you tell me the name of the person? He must be one of my rivals that were wishing to get my position in this pack, I'm sure," Chad said.

"I don't think so but sorry I can't disclose the discussion between me and the Alpha, you know how he is, but if you want to see the real culprit, then be at the dungeon tomorrow morning as his execution will happen tomorrow," Ash replied.

"Tomorrow will be one of my longest nights, I just can't wait to see the fall of my enemy, thanks a lot Ash, wouldn't have been possible without you," Chad said.

"Only that you won't be rejoicing but crying tomorrow," Ash said in his mind, staring at Chad pitifully.

Alpha Jade's body became hairy; his nails also became longer and sharper.

He transformed into a giant black wolf and jumped on Ronald who was screaming and crying for help, a heavy wolf on him isn't a small deal.

No one dares interrupt else they will end up dying.

He designed his face with his sharp nails and beat his chest with his paws.

Ronald was sweating, he could hardly breathe, he was covered with his blood, and having no option he decided to tell the truth.

"I took the money...I...I took it, " Ronald announced.

Alpha Jade stopped beating him and turn back to normal, everything else change back to normal

He called the guards and they arrived in a twinkle of an eye.

"Take him to the dungeon, and execute him tomorrow, he is the thief that stole part of the Orchard's money, inform everyone to be there, his punishment will be hanging to death." Alpha Jade ordered.

"Yes, your highness." They bowed and carelessly dragged Ronald to the floor who had already passed out.
