CHAPTER 5

"Stop!" A voice said and everyone was shocked and eager to see who dares to interrupt the execution.

Alpha Jade stepped forward and he saw her, her eyes were red but their beauty was real.

Her lips were well shaped and full, her nose long and pointed, her eyebrows thick and dark, her eyelashes long and attractive with her long Dark hair flowing which compliments her white soft skin.

He lowered his gaze to her body, her curves were killer, her graceful legs were straight and her skin glowed flawlessly with her face as smooth as that of a baby bear.

"Janita, what are you doing here?" Ronald asked.

"No Ronald, I can't let you get killed, you are innocent." Janita cried.

"Please Janita, go home, go." Ronald pleaded. Alpha Jade coughed.

"Can any of you explain what's going on here?" Alpha Jade said in a loud voice.

"No... nothing, your highness, please hang me," Ronald replied.

"What's going on here? Who is she?" Chad wondered.

Janita walked to Alpha Jade, he couldn't take his eyes off her. She fell to her knees.

"Your highness please don't kill him, Ronald is innocent, please I know you're an Alpha full of justice, serve Justice to Ronald and let him go." Janita pleated, folding her hands.

"Do we look like we are playing some kind of joke here?" Alpha Jade asked.

"I'm sorry your highness," Janita answered.

"Stop it, why should I forgive a thief, someone who betrayed this pack? Or do you think your stupid tears will touch me!" Alpha Jade yelled

"He is not a thief, your highness, he didn't steal the money," Janita said.

"Then who did?" Alpha Jade asked and the place was completely quiet.

"I'm talking to you!" He roared.

She closed her eyes and tears fell from her eyes.

"I did, I stole the money, I made him do it, I threatened him to get the money else I will lie about him to everyone," Janita said.

Alpha Jade was shocked, same as Ash, and Chad was super angry.

"What are you saying Janita, no your highness, don't agree with her, she is just making it up to save me, I...I stole the money, it was my fault, she was just saying nonsense to save me please don't listen to her." Ronald pleaded.

"No your highness, I stole the money, I swear, believe me," Janita said, folding her hands.

"No your highness..."

"Enough, we are not here to discuss love or any form of stupidity, you girl, what evidence do you have that you stole the money and what makes you suddenly come here crying to save him? Was your mission not to ruin his life? You should be happy, right? Why are you crying then!" Alpha Jade yelled.

"You are right, that was my intention but now I realized I can't hurt him, I can't hurt an innocent person, and yes I do have the evidence," Jacinta said and everyone gasped as she presented the money to Alpha Jade, Ash knew everything she said was fake, he witnessed everything, yet he counted the money and it was the exact amount that went missing.

Chad was so angry.

"This stupid girl, how can you be so miserable and wicked, look at how you made my son look like, you made him get tagged as a thief, and because of you I almost lost my son, I'm gonna make sure you die just the way you wanted my son to." Chad spat.

"Calm down Chad, you are in the presence of the Alpha," Ash warned.

Ronald was released and an ambulance came to take him to the hospital.

He cried staring at Janita and she cried too.

Chad dragged him to the ambulance and he watched her till he was out of her sight.

"Innocent looking girl with a clever heart, anyways, as the laws demand, this young girl will receive the same punishment Ronald was about to get, and for the meantime, arrest her and lock her up." Alpha Jade said.

Janita cried, remembering her mom, who will now take care of her mom?"

She will be left alone or rather she will die when she finds out about her execution.

The guards handcuffed Janita and she was taken away to the dungeon.

Alpha Jade returned to the palace together with Ash.

"I can't imagine that girl can do such a thing." Alpha Jade said.

"You can't imagine it because she didn't do it," Ash replied.

"You mean what?" Alpha Jade asked.

"Remember I was the one that did the investigation so I knew that, the girl is innocent, she didn't steal the money, her Mom is sick and they needed to take her to the hospital, Ronald stole the money and hand it over to Janita who was so adamant to accept it at first as she questioned him how and where he gets it, he lied to her, that it was among the money he has been saving for long and she had to agree, you see, Janita only took the blame because he did it for her, young love how interesting and how sad for her to get killed for the sake of her love," Ash answered which made Alpha Jade stop walking.

"Deep in my heart I already knew the girl can't do what she said, she looks innocent, but we can't do anything, she gave up her life for love and admitted in front of everyone that she was the one by providing an evidence, so there is nothing I can do, the execution will happen just as planned," he said.

"Alright then, I don't know what to say anymore," Ash replied.

"Let's go, I have some letters of the peace treaty with Moon pack, so I have to go check it, don't allow anyone in my chamber, not even Diane." Alpha Jade ordered.

"Alright, king." Ash chuckled.

Alpha Jade glared at him and walked away while Ash sighed.

Janita was dragged to the dungeon and the place alone looks creepy.

She was thrown in and locked up in the dark room, the disgusting smell welcomed her and her legs slipped into something that she was sure was poor. She started vomiting immediately.

She tried to cover her nose as the place is so irritating. She could barely breathe and She started crying.

"Why did you do this Ronald, look at how you almost lost your life, now I will have to lose mine too, but it's better because I can bear the pains I will feel forever and I can't forgive myself for being the reason for everything, now who will take care of my mom? God, please save my mother, don't allow her pains to kill her," Janita prayed, and not being able to see her hands, made her feel like she has been blind for years.

Chad watched as Ronald got treated by the doctor, the doctor injected him and left.

Ronald turned to the other side.

"What are you angry about? You should be celebrating that, that stupid girl decided to say the truth," Chad said.

"Stop insulting Janita, Dad, she didn't do anything, I stole the money not her," Ronald yelled.

"Stop saying this my son, I know she threatened you badly, but don't worry, I'm here with you alone, you can tell me," Chad said.

"It was so dumb of you and that Alpha not to think that Janita could never do what she said she did, I stole the money and gave it to her because I love her, I love her okay," Ronald replied.

"I don't care okay, I don't care what you feel about her, all I know is that I'm happy you won't get killed, thanks to her for taking your side now next time she won't be a brat, just focus on getting well, my son," Chad said. Ronald turned to the other side as the tears of guilt fell from his eyes.

He shouldn't have done it, he has forgotten about the whole consequences and trapped Jacinta in huge trouble.

"I shouldn't have done it father, I thought I had no option, I can't watch Janita in tears, and do you know what hurts? What hurts is she didn't inform the Alpha about her mom's health instead she lied," Ronald said.

"That's because she has always been a liar, whatever you will say about her I don't care and that won't change the fact that she is a clever wicked girl who transformed the mind of my son into rubbish, you are not the thief, she is, and that's all that matters to me, got it!" Chad replied.

"It was nonsense telling you about it seriously, just let me get out of this place, I will tell Alpha Jade and the whole pack I stole the money, I will tell everyone that I am a thief, and I will make sure I do anything possible to get Janita out of there," Ronald said.

"That will only happen in your dream because she is getting killed before you even get better," Chad replied.
