Chapter Nine

Dennis walked down the stairs to meet his Gamma and Beta, Fred and Troy.

"Hey Dennis", Fred said and hugged him.

Dennis was surprised by his actions, "Is everything okay?", he asked.

"Yeah, yeah sure. I just feel good today", Fred responded and took his seat.

Dennis was about to take his seat when his phone rang, he looked at it and it was a call from Kelsey.

His heart skipped a beat, he held the phone to his ear with a prayer of hope in his mouth, "Hey", he said.

"I would like to see you", Kelsey replied, "Can we meet in the same restaurant?", she asked.

Dennis kept mute for a while, he didn't know if he heard right, he thought he would never get a chance to talk to her again. He was happy he would get to convince her to take up the offer.

"Yeah, yeah sure, see you in five", Dennis responded and cut off the call.

He rushed back to Fred and Troy, "I have to go somewhere", he said and turned to leave.
