“The bastard wants an apology.” I laughed out loud as I strolled closer to Jonathan, who was standing beside my car with a few council members.

After he received an email from one of the elders in my council, requesting my presence at an emergency meeting with the Crescent Moon Pack, we had driven out together to the venue.

As soon as we arrived, the elders took Jonathan aside to have a word with him, and while I waited for them in front of the elevator, the Beta of the asshole I punched at the event showed up and requested I tender a public apology to his Alpha (Tyler) so this wouldn’t escalate into a war.

How on earth would they think that I should be afraid of a war with them?

It was amusing watching him try to intimidate me, but he overstepped within a few seconds, and I almost snuffed the life out of him if one of my guards had not shown up and pleaded with me to let him go.

I actually let him go, but I stormed out of the building with the intention of heading back home. I
