Nothing! I heard nothing from Aeros for the rest of the day. I was locked up in his room, and no one, not even the maid, came to check up on me. I knew there was a guard at the door, so I didn’t even think of stepping outside.

As the hours passed, the suspicion grew, and the apprehension of what was to come kept me on the edge of the bed. If I had heard Aeros and Jonathan properly, Tyler was the guest downstairs with him, but for what reason?

Why was the Alpha of the pack I had left behind here in Aeros’ pack? From what I had heard, Tyler and Aeros were not on very good terms.
