ELARIAN

The tingling sensation on my neck was both a mixture of pain and pleasure, but that pleasure was instantly replaced by excruciating pain when he slammed those words right in my face.

“What…what do you mean by that?” I looked up at him in utter confusion, but he wouldn’t even meet my eyes. He was intentionally avoiding my gaze.

This was what I had been so scared of from the start. I knew at one point or another, he would act up like this, and he was doing just that now. My legs were trembling underneath me, unable to hold me up anymore, but I struggled to stand.
