Aurora’s POV

She didn't cut my hair like I expected her to, instead, she took out a brush and ran through it with a force that my scalp hurt and tears began to fall from my eyes. I let them fall freely but I didn't sob, I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of seeing me cry knowing that nothing would change her mind.

“Oh look at you” she cooed, her hand holding my cheeks so hard that her nails were beginning to dig into my flesh and leave red marks in their wake. “Look what the world did to you and yet you're still here. You are such a strong girl, you're gonna grow up to be so strong.” Her words sounded sincere, but I knew better, she never meant anything she said.

I refused to say anything.

“If Daniel said those words to you, you'll be sucking his cock right now wouldn't you?” She laughed as she stared down at me. “You are a slut, always have been, always will be” she continued. “You only care about sex, you can never love yourself enough for both and you will never be happy.
