Chapter 32

Aurora’s POV

When I woke up, it took some time before my eyes adjusted to my environment . There were a few sounds around me that I had yet to become accustomed to, but once they were familiar to my ears, I realized that they weren't the kind of noises I would normally associate with my apartment.

After my eyes adjusted to the bright sunlight, I looked around the room I was in for some clues as to what the heck this place was or who I was here with. I remembered that I left my apartment behind, I left Daniel and everything that had to do with his pack in order to be alone, so how was I in the presence of another person if not him?

When I tried to move my hands, I couldn't, it was only then I realized that they were tied to my side in some manner. The sensation caused a chill of horror to run down my spine as memories resurfaced from the previous night's events. This wasn't good. I slept under a tree, how had I gotten here?
