I had no idea how many people might have seen me shifting, but Emily assured me that I was safe. The sheriff wasn’t happy with the turn of events, which was understandable. None of the werewolf wars had ever come so close to town, never mind happening right in the center square. It was all a bit much and our enemies had gone too far.
