Chapter 87 - War ... For some.

“We agreed to peace!” One of the Lunas shouted at our new friend and I rolled my eyes. If we couldn’t even come to an agreement of some sort inside the councils, how the hell were we supposed to ever live in peace?! The discussion had been going around in circles for over an hour and from what Hunter was telling me through our link, he was having the same problem.

Half of the council said we should leave the two packs to sort out their problems with each other and the other half felt I should intervene and silence both packs. I thought having these councils would help, but in the end, it seemed to have just made the noise louder!

“This is not helping!” I shouted, silencing them all. I tried to calm myself. This was not working. Just like the final decision of what would happen to those people rested on Hunter’s shoulders, the decision of their futures rested on mine. I had no idea how long my power would last. If I ordered them to stand down … How long would they live in peace?
