ALEXIA
You will be fine, I muttered under my breath looking at the tall majestic building in front of me, several heads turned in my direction, a look of displeasure settling over their face. Just like everywhere else, it was clear that I wasn’t welcome here. Reminding myself to ignore them as usual, I walked into the building with my head held high. There were students standing around, chatting, laughing and moving about like they belong here—which they do unlike me.
Fortunately the principal had been kind enough to inform my Dad to let me d******d the school map because gosh! The building was huge! it has this majestic ancient aura even though it was designed as a modern day castle that speaks of wealth, I instantly fell in love with the architecture.
I gaped open mouthed at the people in front of me, is everyone a model or something? The guys were so good looking and let’s not talk about the girls! The fact that they weren’t paying much attention to me, allowed my gaze to freely wander around. I felt self-conscious for the first time in my life, taking a deep breath I stepped forward.
"Fine! I'm leaving!" A girl in front of me yelled, retreating and bumping directly into me causing me to drop my backpack that was dropped carelessly over my right shoulder.
A quick flashback of what happened between me and the girl from the store appeared in my mind. I still have bruises from the way she had grabbed and twisted my arm. What if this girl dies the same thing? I didn’t think my body could handle any of that, I don’t even want to find out! Regardless, I braced myself.
“Geez, am I that scary?” She asked, laughing a little.
Now that she has her face turned toward me, I took in her appearance, admitting to myself how breathtaking she looks. Her light brown hair fell loosely down her shoulders like a wave of waterfall, her brown eyes were warm with kindness? And don’t get me started on her toned model body, which she was showing off in a biker tanked top and a low rise jeans, occupied by black boots.
“Here, let me help you.” She offered, pulling me down along with her, while I just stared as if waiting for something which in fact I was.
After putting back all the books that fell out of my backpack, we continued to stare at one another. I was too scared to speak while on the other hand, she might be probably waiting for me to say something. Giving up, she let out a sigh and stood up, walking away without a backward glance like a model on a runaway.
I’m into guys though but most girls I see walk by had me questioning my sexuality for a second, I wasn’t used to seeing that many beautiful people in one day or place! While I didn’t pay attention to the guys, in fact I made it my mission not to look their way so I don’t end up making a fool of myself. Fortunately, no one paid attention to me and a few who managed to catch my scent in the air, only snarled.
I finally arrived at the principal’s office, letting out a puff of air. “Good day sir.” I started, announcing my presence.
"You must be Alexia Jackson, correct? and you’re from North America, definitely human.” The last part was mostly whispered to himself. “It’s nice having you here,I guess you can thank our Alpha for his generosity, he gave you the permission to be here.” Right, it’s hard to forget that, even my parents have been singing it in my ear along with “be grateful Lexi.”
“I supposed, thanks for having me here.” I let myself relax a bit when he smiled kindly and motioned toward a seat in front of his desk.
“Alright, I have your approval papers here, make sure to keep it safe.” He handed me a rectangular brown paper that no doubt contained the documents. “Your class schedule is also in the files, along with your locker combination. The key is for emergencies, in case you forget your combinations or prefer to use keys instead.”
"Thank you very—" my words were interrupted as the door abruptly flung open, followed by a loud growl that made the whole furniture vibrate. Terrified out of my mind, I stood up from the chair, backing toward the nearest cabinet.
I darted a nervous look in the principal's direction wondering what the hell was going on. A second later, a tall masculine guy stalked into the room, his feline eyes set on the principal like a predator. The aura that radiated from him did not only make me nervous but the principal as well. He looked so drop dead gorgeous, I didn’t even know how to begin to describe him.
His side profile was sharp and his jaw looked as if it could cut through anything, his jet black hair fell across his head in wet messy waves and it was styled in a way that not even a strand of hair seemed out of place. Not to mention him dressing in all black, everything about him was dark, the devil is indeed beautiful, I thought.
Looking at him made me feel funny and I blushed, looking away from him even though he hadn’t looked in my direction once. His nostril flared as he lifted his chin arrogantly at the principal, I knew he could smell me.
“Ethanol, who the fuck gave you the right to let a human walk into my territory?” He demanded, his deep voice sending shivers down my body even though I wasn’t the one he was addressing.
He had the poor man backed against the wall behind his desk, fear evidence in his eyes as the older guy leaned toward him, planting both his hands on the table.
"It‘s—“ The principal stammered.
“Stop mumbling to yourself and fucking use your outside voice!” He demanded again, this time flipping over the table and causing an involuntary scream to escape me. I quickly covered my mouth to prevent another scream as he veered in my direction.
Time seemed to freeze as he looked down at me, I stared back, memorised by his dark eyes, they were so dark it looked like a bottomless pit of darkness. I inwardly frowned wondering where the urge to run into his arms was coming from! This guy hates my guts, it was obvious in the way he looked at me,
He kept staring, no, I meant glaring.
"Don't fucking stare at me!" He snarled, and I immediately lowered my gaze, staring at his leather shoe instead. Man! He was tall, easily towering over my five feet and whatever small inches I had, I felt so short.
“I see, you’re the fucking human in my territory.” He said the word human like it was an insult, if the past few months of my life here have proved anything it was that being called human was an insult.
Since I had no idea what he was talking about, I still kept my eyes down, biting on my lower lip nervously. I hate confrontations, I just wanted this to be over so my heart would stop leaping so much and the stupid urge to fling myself at him would go away.
"The orders came from Alpha Damon the second." The principal manages to stammer out again.
I finally risked looking up when he addressed the principal. “My Dad?” There’s a note of surprise in his voice. “Never mind, look at me human.” He ordered because I lowered my gaze again when he turned.
I slowly looked up at him, my lips unconsciously parting, lt like what I feel, or say were beyond my control, it felt beyond my control, it was weird, a good kind of weird.
“Stop staring at me like that!” He snapped, his eyes darkening even more.
My throat felt dry and I darted my tongue out to lick my lips, my eyes lowering briefly to look at his. “Like what?” I asked, puzzled by his question.
“Damn it!” He cussed, stalking out of the room.
Confused by his reaction, I frowned, feeling a wave of disappointment over his dispatcher. The principal, trying to readjust himself, snapped me out of my thoughts and I hurried to his side to check if he was okay. “Sir, are you alright?” I inquired.
He nodded, and I got to work, picking up the things the psychopath had fling across the room when he flipped the table, a very hot psycho if you ask me.
“Alpha is that way, you will get used to it.” He turned the table upright and I gaped at him, surprised by his strength but then the word Alpha made me freeze.
Alpha? That made so much sense, he’s even more scary than I imagined and I definitely can’t have the hots for someone who clearly hates me and doesn’t want me in his pack. I dropped everything I picked on the floor on the table, not bothering to look back as the Principal thanked me for helping.
I stared at the school map trying to find where the locker room was located. After that I looked through my class schedule, to see what classes my Dad signed me up for.
I paused seeing that all my classes had something to do with Luna straining which was bizarre, why the hell? From what I know so far, Luna is supposed to be like what, the Alpha’s wife! Why would my Dad sign me up for that? What Alpha in their right mind would marry a human girl?
Maybe the principal made a mistake, I retreated with the intention of going back to the principal office when I bumped into someone, spurning around, I was shocked to see it was the girl from earlier.
For some reason, we both burst out laughing, probably because of the cheer coincidence of us bumping into one another.
“Do you believe in fate? I think the universe wants us to be friends. I’m Raven and you?” She asked, extending her hand while smiling at me.

She also helped me secure my backpack on my back so I had enough room to look at the map and my class schedule at the same time without dropping anything. "Am I really that scary? You've been staring at me like I’m some kind of predator, I promise I won't bite." She remarked, slapping her open palm on her forehead, an action that indicates her frustration. "I apologise, let’s just say I’m used to people being nice to me here." I finally responded. She looked taken aback by my statement for a second. "That should be a fucking crime, I see why anyone would want to be anything but nice to you, you’re adorable!” I blushed at the compliment. "Could you help me take out my glasses? It’s in my bag." I asked, swiftly turning around, deciding maybe I just couldn't see what I read earlier. She shook her head, gesturing towards the si

Despite my parents trusting the Alpha in question, I didn’t, especially after meeting his son.
