Making memories

Nina gasped in shock as she struggled to catch her breath. "What? Did you hear it? Did you feel it too?" She asked him, and he nodded.

"Mate." He whispered, the word feeling strange in his mouth.

"How is this possible?"

"Second chance. Well, I guess our love is as strong as the force of the mate bond, or maybe even stronger."

Her eyes gleamed with tears and she jumped into his embrace. "I'm so happy, Ezra."

Ezra hugged her tightly. "You are mine now Nina, in every way possible."

"I was always yours. But yes, I agree. Every way possible." She then pulled out of the hug to kiss him. This was what she had always wanted since she got with him. She had forgotten about it in recent times, but she had always loved the idea. Now that it happened, it brought a sense of completeness, a sense of fulfillment to her. "You complete me."

"I have told you this, and I will tell you again, you are my life, Nina. I mean it." He took her hand, interlacing his fingers with hers and holding her tight.
