Little Nina

Ezra's eyes were wide as saucers as he stared at his new wife. She was more daring than he had expected her to be. He had even expected her to be very compliant as she had been rejected before. It was very likely that she would never get to mate with anyone again, and no werewolf would like to live their entire life without a mate. It was only on very rare occasions that they get a second chance mate.

"I am sorry." Nina apologized. She just wanted to get out of his presence, and out of the wedding gown. She made to walk past him, but he grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"I didn't ask you to leave."

"Forgive me Alpha, but this dress is uncomfortable." Her eyes then trailed the length of his body. He had taken off his suit, but he still had on a white shirt, and a pair of suit trousers. "Aren't you going to change? Or do you always dress this formal in your house?"

Ezra couldn't deny that he was taken aback by her casual concern about his clothes. He expected her to be more worried that he was offended by her disrespect.

"Do you wish to be dealt with Nina?"

She shook her head. "I wish to bath, change and rest."

"There would be no resting for you dear wife. Did you forget that we newly got married?"

She tilted her head to one side as she stared at him, taking in his features. He was tall and lean, with broad chest and well toned torso. Even though he was clothed, it was obvious through the tightness of the shirt. Going to his face, she noticed his amber eyes, and sharp jawlines, with a neatly trimmed line of beard. His dark hair tousled, some falling to his face. He was a gorgeous man, but with an ugly character.

"Is that the only thing that comes to your mind when you see me?" She gave him an obvious fake smile. "Please excuse me Alpha. I need to bath and change. I hope it pleases you." She then gave a mock bow before walking past him. This time he allowed her.

She spent some time there, before coming out. She met him sitting on the sofa there. He had changed into a navy blue loose T-shirt, and another black trouser. His gaze followed her as she walked.

"You don't have to change inside. I am your husband remember?"

"How can I forget?"

"We should go outside and meet some people. My beta would be delighted to see you."

She eyed him suspiciously. He who did not care to wait for her to get down the car wanted to introduce her to people? It would take time for her to get used to him. Having nothing to do, she agreed to go with him.

They descended down the stairs together, going past the second floor.

"I thought the beta stays here?"

"He's does. I spoke to him through the mindlink. He's about leaving the pack house for some business."

"You haven't told me about your parents Alpha." She stated, and he just glanced for a moment, before turning back, not bothering to answer her.

When they came outside the pack house, Nina took note of a man standing in front of a black car. He didn't seem to notice them as he had his hands wrapped around a woman, Claire. That should be the Beta.

As if sensing them, his hold on Claire loosened, and she came to stand by his side, but she still rested her head on his shoulder, and his hand was still in the small of her back. It was obvious that they had a hard time separating from each other.

The man smiled charmingly when he noticed them. He and Claire then walked up to them.

"Meet my Beta, Axel. Axel, my wife, Nina."

Axel offered a slight respectful bow. "I am happy to finally meet you Luna. Claire was just telling me about you. She mentioned your beauty, but I don't think her words do justice to you." He then took her right hand and attempted to bring it to his lips, but Ezra quickly slapped his hand away, and took Nina's hand, his gaze narrowed at Axel in warning.

Nina was surprised at his reaction, but she didn't say anything. Axel and Claire chuckled.

"I am sorry if I got the wrong message across Alpha, but I am not trying to steal your wife. I have mine." He then playfully pulled Claire close to himself, and Nina guessed that they were always like that with one another.

"I hope she brings some light to your dark life." He continued to tease. Then he turned to Nina; "And if he ever does something against you, you can always come to me."

Nina couldn't help but laugh lightly at his playfulness. The man was a high spirit, and the exact opposite of the crazy Alpha she was married to.

"I think this is enough introduction for today." Ezra said. He then snuck his hand around Nina's waist, and walked past the couple.

"Hey Alpha, that's rude. I didn't get to tell her all about..." He shut his mouth and grinned instead when Ezra turned to him. Ezra then decided to go show her other things.

"Where would you like to see?"

"Where do your omegas live?"

"Almost every house in this pack is occupied by an omega." He answered in a matter of fact tone, as though it was something she was supposed to be aware of. "Isn't it like that in your pack?"

She shook her head. "Omegas do not live anywhere close to the pack house. The houses close to the pack house are those of high ranking members."

She noticed that he didn't remove his hand that was on her waist, and she wondered if he was just trying to familiarize himself with her body.

"I told them that the Luna ceremony would be tomorrow." Ezra suddenly declared, and she stopped on her tracks. She got out of his hold and turned to him.

"You didn't think that you should have informed me first before making such big decision that greatly involves me?"

"I don't see the necessity in doing that."

"Are you just so eager to get into my pants?" She asked in anger. For them to perform the Luna ceremony mean that they needed to mate before the next day. And that only meant that they needed to have sex.

"Oh well, you are my wife now, and you haven't even given me the chance to see you naked." As if they didn't just get married few hours ago.

She came to stand in front of him. It was a little funny how she blocked his path because he was bigger than her. "Look, I didn't choose to marry you. I know you would think you are doing me a favour by agreeing to marry me, and that is why you expect me to always do exactly as you say. Right? You think I would do everything to please you?"

Nina then noticed someone coming out of the pack house. She knew that it would not be a good sight for the both of them to be caught arguing, when they only just got married, so she moved closer to him and placed her hands on his shoulders.

Ezra was at loss for words. He first didn't expect her outburst, and now this?

She lowered her head to his shoulder, and then she moved all the way to his neck and ear, her hot breath fanning his skin. "You have got to play fair Alpha, if you want this wedding to work."

Ezra's hand instinctively grabbed her waist, as her little bold action stirred something within him. He then tilted his head so that his mouth would be close to her ear.

"Come with me little Nina."
