CHAPTER 88

Malia’s POV

The first thing I saw when I woke was the Alpha, staring at me. In all honesty, he didn’t look pleased to see me.

He growled.

“Start talking!”

I shuddered. I looked around to realize that I was surrounded by the pack army, Hercules, and Zen. My heart broke at the expression Zen wore on his face. I wanted to have him in my arms. And tell him that this is not what it seems.

Hercules gestured for Michael to calm down.

"You are scaring her,” he said.

"Well, I don’t care!” Michael walked off.

I sat there as the pack doctor tried to check my temperature. Zen did not say anything, and he walked off too. I sat up immediately and was about to move.

“Drink this; it will help with the wounds,” the pack doctor said. She looked at me, as if daring me to stand up and leave. I nodded, "Thank you.” I took it from her and began to gulp the liquid down. I winced. It was too sour.
