This book does not only make no sense. It follows no clear theme. The author jumps from. One story to another. Can not connect the dots.........

I read a few chapters and the book has potential, but because of the author’s lack of how to bring a story to point/storyline it’s to blotchy and sporadic. If the author clean up and make a storyline this would be a good book. As it is now! No thanks. Can’t read it like this. Good luck author

Chapter 1

Nora's POVI sneaked into the pack house, making my way to Jake's room. I can't believe my dream has finally come true. Jake and I had always wanted to be mated by the moon goddess. We loved each other, but we still wanted the moon goddess to approve of our love, and that happened today.I had felt the pull; Jake's wolf must have sensed it too, as Camilla and my wolf did. I was feeling all giddy as I tiptoed to Jake's room. There isn't really any reason to sneak around, but it was exciting to do so.When I reached Jake's room, I began to hear noises that caused me to furrow my brows.“Ahh… Jake… oh goodness…” Moans rang out of the room, causing my eyes to widen. I felt my wolf cower in fear of the revelation we were about to receive.“No?” My frown deepened as I slowly reached for the doorknob and began to open it. Tears rolled down my cheeks before I knew what was going on.I gulped when I saw Jake in bed with a lady.“Fuck! Jake! Ah, you're so good."She moaned again, and my eyes wi

Nora's POV“You better get lost, you hear me? Don't you dare bring shame to our people. Look at yourself; you're just an ugly cow. You ain't ever going to find a mate like me. Now get the hell out of here and stop burdening our pack.”These words kept ringing in my head as I ran deeper into the woods. I couldn't go home, nor did I have anywhere to go. My two favorite people are the strangers I just found in bed together. Jake was mine; Maria stole him from me.He rejected me without remorse, forgetting all the promises he made to me. Ignoring all the praise he gave me He had promised that I'd be his Luna, right by his side, when he was crowned Alpha. And Maria had promised to be our children's godmother. She promises to spoil them completely. But the two people I saw in that room just now weren't my favorites; they were strangers and new enemies. They deliberately ripped my heart from my rib cage. They did it on purpose; they hurt me on purpose.I fell to the ground as I screamed,“No

Chapter 3

Nora's POVI felt a heavy hand on my waist as the breeze caressed my naked skin, so I slowly opened my eyes only to find a man beside me with his hand on my waist.I gulped first before slowly touching his hands, as I couldn't believe that he was real. When I reached for his hands, I could feel it, and I froze.“He is real!” I whispered, and my hands quickly slapped my mouth shut because I was tempted to scream.I thought it was a hallucination! But what about the monkey and the fish?He was naked, just as I was. Oh no, I slept with a total stranger! And not once, we had gone over again and again till we finally slept off. What the hell was I thinking?!Closing my eyes, I couldn't help but scold myself for being so foolish. Because I was hungry, I didn't know right from wrong anymore.I felt so ashamed of myself and irritated, as I couldn't even see any difference between Jake and me. Just one day after getting rejected, I already allowed a man into my pants.Without much thought, I g

Nora's POV"Congratulations, ma'am; you're two weeks pregnant."“Wh…at!” I choked on my spit. What's the doctor saying?“You're pregnant. The test result is out.” He handed it over to me as he sat down while I slowly took the paper from him. My eyes scanned the paper until I saw 'positive'. I suddenly began to feel dizzy.“Are you okay?” The doctor asked, but before I could reply, I passed out. His words faded as my darkness enveloped me.The next time I opened my eyes, I saw that I had been admitted to the hospital. The doctor stood in front of me,“Can you hear me? Can you see me?” I nodded as I watched him speak. Though he was moving in slow motion, I could see and hear him.“You need to take good care of yourself. You can't go about fainting anyway. You are not one anymore; you're two, and you're carrying a child.” He sounded pissed but was holding it in.Tears rolled down my eyes. I was pregnant. It was definitely the stranger's child. How did I not take proper care and take some

Chapter 5

Michael's POV“Name your price. Ten million dollars? Twenty million dollars?” I asked as I walked into the office. My eyes moved to what pulled me over here, or, should I say, who had pulled me over. The boy is sitting quietly at the side of the office. He had a round face, and his hair was dark like mine. I waited for him to raise his head, and he did, and when he did, my eyes widened.I was a carbon copy of my young self when I was around his age. He looked so handsome and innocent; whatever had happened wasn't his fault. I'm not even sure he knew what had happened.“You… you… you will give me… twenty million if I ask for… it?” The lady asked, causing me to move my eyes from my boy to her. Before I could even think of responding, my eyes moved to the lady beside her. Was she the one? The one I slept with seven years ago?Everyone told me she was a ghost; they said it was my imagination, but I know what I felt and what I saw. I didn't sleep with a ghost; she's real, and she gave birt

CHAPTER SIX

Nora’s POV:I turned to face Michael, my heart pounding in my chest. "I refuse to stay here," I said, my voice shaking with a mix of anger and hurt. I locked eyes with him, waiting for his response.Confusion flickered across Michael's face as he reached out, gently taking hold of my hand. "Why, Nora? What's the reason?" He asked, his voice filled with genuine concern. I could see the worry in his eyes. But I can’t just go on to live with a stranger.Yes, he claimed he was Dylan’s father. It still didn’t sit well, for he came out of nowhere and suddenly took me and my son.Frustration surged through me, and I struggled to find the right words. How could I explain that moving into his house wasn't as simple as it seemed? "We can't just move into your house. We barely know you," I argued, my voice quivering with emotion. His grip on my hand tightened, his eyes narrowing. "Nora, Dylan is my son too, and I want to be a part of his life," he said firmly, and I gritted my teeth. His voice wa

CHAPTER SEVEN

Nora’s POV:We both came up for air, and Michael’s eyes were still fixed on me. I had the urge to slap his face for forcing himself on me, but I remembered that I had also reciprocated the kiss.Damn!I tried to say something—anything that could clear the sudden awkwardness in the air.But before I could form any words, Michael best me to it.“You will stay here with me and our son,” he whispered, but I heard every word clearly. Before I could refute, he opened the door and walked out.I sighed. This was definitely how my life would change from now on.Just then,I glanced around the room, my eyes widening in awe at the sheer beauty. Now that I thought about it, the next packhouse looked so beautiful. And now I had to stay because I loved my life. I think I should probably take a look around. The place was enormous, and I couldn't help but think that it looked like something out of a fairytale.Since I had no other choice but to stay here, why not make the most of it and explore now?

CHAPTER EIGHT

Nora’s POVI stilled upon hearing his voice.“What’s that, dad?” Dylan grabbed something from his hands. He chuckled as he played with it. Michael ruffled his hair as he smiled down at him. Dylan is smiling back. He lifted him in the air and threw him around, like he was some airplane. Dylan’s giggles bounce off the wall. No one needed to be told; my son was enjoying the company of his father.Well, I guess we don’t have to argue over who the father of the year goes to. The longer I stood there, the longer I tried to fight back the tears that were pulling in my eyes. It’s been hard to be alone with Dylan. The memories of trying to find a man who would love my son for the past 7 years were fresh in my mind. I gave up at some point. Raising him alone was one hell of a job. Now, as I watched him play with his biological father, it felt nostalgic.I wiped a tear that had escaped my ears and began to turn when the door was yanked open. I gasped.“Come on, Nora, I've been wondering how long

CHAPTER NINE

Michael’s POVShe stared at her hands, not sparing me a glance. I knew she was shy, but not this shy. I tilted her face toward me. That way, she was not going to look away."First, Nora, you don’t have to be shy with me. I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable, but I’m not sorry for saying that." Her face immediately went bright red, like that of a fire truck."Emm, I think it's late. I need it to retire to bed." She stood abruptly as she pulled away from me. I am still avoiding my eyes."Okay," I muttered, and we left the theater. As we walked in absolute silence, I watched her back. She kept looking back a bit."I guess this is a good night then," I said as we got to her door."Yes, I had a great time. Thanks to you," she gave me a small smile, and I returned it. Speaking of the great time, I don't even remember a single thing that happened in the movie. Nora was my beautiful distraction. The week went by fast. Dylan had begun to settle down at a new school."Dad, can I still punch pe

CHAPTER TEN

Michael's POV"Your highness, the Desma pack is seeking your acceptance. They want you to get a mate from their pack." Zen informed me. I rolled my eyes.We were on our way to the Desma pack. If it were left alone for me, I would be somewhere in the house, getting ready to pick Nora and Dylan up from school. Now I'm going to talk to people who are not too different as lickers. Great. I never visited packs. Hercules, though my brother was also the beta. He did those kinds of jobs in my stead. He took care of the pack while I was on the human side, whenever I wanted to rest."A mate?" Hercules exclaimed.I ran my hands through my hair. These small packs. I am always looking for ways to seek favor from the Faulkners."Will you honor it?" Hercules asked as he continued scrolling through his phone. I snorted. He already knew my answer."Don't look at me, Herc; this visit was solely your idea. You know I don't do packs.""Yes, Agnar I said so, but this is the way you would be recognized and
