CHAPTER 32

Helios was the last person I expected to see as I stepped downstairs. He seemed to be waiting patiently for something. Maybe for me. I groaned internally as I stood there. He had not seen me yet but if I made any movement he would see me. But I couldn't stand there forever. I shut my eyes, breathing deeply and making a decision. I continued walking farther, keeping my eyes on Helios. He saw me and that creepy smile he always had appeared.

"You're really a hard person to see" he stalked towards me, his arms aching out but I avoided it.

"Is something wrong?" He cocked his head to the side, studying me. I shook my head.

A"Nothing. I just don't want to be touched" by you but I decided not to include that part. His eyes widened a fraction, probably surprised by my confident response. I saw annoyance flicker in his eyes but it disappeared as soon as it came.

"I won't touch you then" An awkward silence settled between us and I was waiting for a minute before excusing myself.

Uggg seriously how can she expect ppl to help her if she keeps on lying, all you have to do is tell the truth at some point these people keep telling her that that he loves is bad, but then she keeps standing up for him. Why can’t she just tell the truth............
