Lori could not but freeze to admire this god on earth, he has a confident, domineering, and effortless stride that gives him a commanding presence. His face is striking and chiseled, with a strong jawline and piercing eyes that convey a strong aura of power, intelligence, and depth.

"Hahahahaha! Who is this laughable knight? Do you think you can save her?" The perpetrator guard that attempted to rape Lori said with a grin,

Alpha Kai's eyes became intense like two burning coals that smolder with a fierce fire, and his fist clenched like a vice that grips with a crushing force, Anger rising in him like a volcanic eruption.

No man, Absolutely no man dares look at him twice to talk less of this lowly guard, "I will not repeat myself after this, let her go!"

Alpha Kai growled, This time his voice became louder like a thunderstorm that echoes across the sky, Lori could feel that the two guards dragging her were already shaking in fear by his intimidating aura.

But the head of the guards seems to be so confident since he thinks Alpha King Leo was powerful and could enslave this boastful coward that appears so big and intimidating.

"Get off me this instant, I will not come back with you! I need to be free, What is my sin?"

Lori cried out in pain, Her face was swollen and red, like a rose that had been battered by the wind, its petals bruised and broken; its beauty still shining through the pain, Alpha Kai could not help but be mesmerized and sympathetic by this alluring woman.

Her gait was princessly enough in spite of the tattered rag she wore and the dirt that lashed across her face, all the painful scars and cicatrices could still not obliterate her pale skin.

Alpha Kai swallowed at the sight of her eyes, Her eyes tear as though pools of liquid gold shimmering with a warmth that draws him closer, 15 flares inside her ocean eyes, bright and shining light that illuminates the world around her, They're framed by her long lashes that flutters, adding to their allure.

It's as if every feature has been carefully crafted to blend together in perfect harmony, creating a stunning portrait of loveliness. And her nose, oh! her nose, it's like a delicate sculpture that adds to her overall beauty. Its subtle curve complements the rest of her face, making her all the more enchanting to behold.

This strong attraction and admiration was surprising to Alpha Kai, he's A king who never smiles, A loveless and cold-hearted king whom everyone feared, How could a weak woman attract his attention this much?

There is definitely something more to her and he'd take her with him, He has the power to, No one dares to question his authority.

"Your Majesty!!" A deep voice echoed from the other side of the wood and a tall burly armed man emerged from the wood, and bowed lowly to Alpha Kai,

"The tiger you hunted has been locked alive in the cage at the camp your Majesty! We'd be leaving in few minutes as we still have 40 miles to travel further." Said the man and Lori's eyes widened in surprise,

"Did he just call him his Majesty? He is an Alpha King!" She thought to herself with a squinted brows,

"We have to leave now, We do not know which pack he rules before we sign war against our pack with a powerful Alpha!" One of Leo's slave guards wearily advised the head slave's guard.

The slave guards commander smirked, He was not going to back down unless he'd get beheaded by Leo, He can't leave without Lori...

"Maybe he's just a coward, Maybe he's not all that he appears to be, That wench can't escape, I must have a taste of her cunt!" He thought inwardly...

"No matter who you are, You can't tell us what to do, This bitch is coming with us! She is a slave in our pack and Alpha Leo owns her!" He snarled at Alpha Kai and yanked Lori's hair almost off her scalp.

"How dare you disrespect His Majesty!! How treacherous!" Alpha Kai's man growled angrily as he moved with a bolt of lightning speed that'd strike without warning, His muscles bulge and ripple, like a coiled spring that is ready to unleash its energy.

"Eliminate him this instant!" So authoritatively and rageful Alpha Kai ordered his man, the lowly slave guard was not worthy enough to die at the hands of Alpha King Kai,

Almost abruptly, the Alpha Kai guard's senses became heightened, he sped with utmost supernatural grace and slashed him from his head apart from his body, in a jiffy warm blood splashed across Lori's face and her heart sank in shock watching her tormentor's head rolling on the ground.

The other two slave guards holding Lori were frozen to the spot, the menacing aura was holding them up in a tightening grip, as they watch their commander's head on the ground, and Alpha Kai's man prowling towards them in his half-human, half-wolf form, razor-sharp fangs, and long sharp sword that was used to slay their commander, They ran as fast as their legs could carry them back into the woods...

Lori was left to face this powerful man, She scrutinized his blankly inscrutable face like he didn't just do a big thing.

"What's your name lady?" Alpha Kai asked in a calm reverberating tone but still expressionless as a statue, "Oh! My god!" She said indistinctively, his tone and aura were creating a fluttering sensation in her chest

"Uhm... Thanks for helping me... I'd never forget this favor" Lori said with a forced smile, As she took a few steps backward, All her natural response was to run, Run away, Leo's men could come back in search of her. But as hard as she tried to move her legs it was futile as though glued to the spot.

Alpha Kai smirked and this surprised his right-hand man Ulric, His king has never for the past 5 years that he's been his beta smiled or even smirked, he's been expressionless and cold...

"Who is this woman my king feels so much attracted to ?" Ulric soliloquised indistinctively whilst flicking his nails to watch what was actually happening.

"I cannot leave you this way, I'd have you in my abode, make sure you heal, and then you can choose to stay or leave," Alpha Kai said and Lori's brows squinted in surprise, as he walked closer to her and offered her a hand, She hesitated and still trying to make her feet leave that spot and run far away, So aware of Alpha Kai.

But he understood that a woman who has lived her life to run from pain only understands the action to run and run, And so abruptly Alpha Kai lifted her up and it sent chills down her spine and her heart races like a thousand butterflies taking flight, each one carrying a piece of her soul towards him,

She has never felt this way, What a foreign feeling!

Alpha Kai scrutinizes her body, the scars and cicatrices, She must have gone through pains. Although he was heartless and could really not feel these pains, But he knows it hurts, Even though he is used to pain and almost lived in pain all his life.

As he walked Lori to their camp holding her in a bridal style whilst Ulric watched surprised out of his neck contemplating whether he was or wasn't charmed.

As they reached the camp, assembled with the palace hunter wolves who had accompanied Alpha Kai on hunting vacation were surprised.. as they mutter indistinctively to one another.
