Lori was adapting well in her new chamber, A very sophisticated chamber decorated with elegant furnishings and luxurious fabrics, Also included with a large four-poster bed with a canopy, plush pillows, and a comforter made of silk and velvet.

After taking her bath, She wrapped the towel around her chest, And walked towards the large standing mirror she stood before it to see how she looks, She was mesmerized by her own beauty

She was not even allowed to see mirrors in leo's palace, There was absolutely no place to even get a mirror, As Lori scrutinizes her body, She saw the big crescent mark on her collarbone area, this mark has been there for years and it hurts like a red hot iron being pressed on her skin everytime the full blue moon comes out..

She looked out of the window it was evening and the sun was settling, the cloud was getting dark and the moon was crescent and forming into a full moon gradually.

She panicked, she would feel such an excrutiating pain in her first day in this palace, She genuinely does not know how she got this mark, Apparently, she couldn't remember a lot of her childhood memories, And she believes that she propably had that mark from birth.

This is such an unusual mark and it is her biggest secret, She was a virgin who hasn't been marked yet by an Alpha, And it's most definitely not possible to be marked at such young age and still be a virgin.

Lori stripped totally and waited patiently for the full moon so she suffer this excruciating pain before anyone finds out.

Meanwhile, Giselle has gotten to the Alpha's residential palace in such a ruckus and reckless motives.

"My lady! You cannot enter this chamber without the king's permission" The attendant tried to stop Giselle, So suddenly and unexpectedly Giselle angrily hurled a hard slap on the attendant's face.

"Take this wench out of the king's resident, and whip her 50 times, You should have learned not to object me by now" Giselle ordered, and her two guards dragged the female attendant out,

All the other palace guards in sight were not allowed to interact but to protect only, they were just all attention in their guards post, expressionless like a statue till Giselle barged into the room.

Just immediately, The blue moon became so full, Whilst Lori was backing the entrance, She heard the creaking sound of the door and she panicked trying to clad herself up, but she was too late.

Giselle already saw her, With a creepy smirk on her cheek, she ordered tersely "Drop the towel, I command it!"

Lori's hands starts to quiver, and the mate mark on her collarbone area became intense, It was so hot and it appears almost white, with a bluish tinge deeply inside, Lori felt an intense heat radiating from the marked area,

It was so intense that she felt it searing deep into her skin and muscle, leaving her with a painful and burning sensation. She was feeling so weak and vulnerable, she was so traumatic and helpless.

Giselle stood observing how Lori suffered,

"I caught you hideous bitch! You are a marked wolf, Who belongs to another Alpha, And you are here to seduce my Alpha and manipulate and kill him, So whoever your Alpha is can have his way into this Kingdom?, You'd be beheaded today!"

"No!! That's absolutely not what you think it is!" Lori tried to explain,

"Then what exactly is it! I have never seen such an hideous mate mark before, Are you a Demon? Perhaps Vampire? We were recently attacked by a vampire clan, You must be a spy !" Giselle yelled at Lori..

"I am none of this!" Lori begged as she suffered in such an excrutiatingly painful searing mark,

"You look so unreal, this facial features are always from tricky shape shifting demons, Anyways I'm not interested in whoever you are, Even if you're a werewolf; which obviously you are not; cause i cannot scent a wolf in you, I'd not let you live for trying to seduce my man!" Giselle yelled tersely.

"Guards!" she called out and some guards rushed in, and immediately Lori grabbed the velvet and clad herself up..

"Take this wench and throw her into the dungeon, And you go and request for an audience with the king !" She ordered tersely,

"You cannot my lady" Ulric's voice echoed as he walked in, "Halt and get out!" Ulric added and the guards stopped and marched out.

Alpha Kai walked into the chamber and they all bowed "what do you want with my guest Giselle?" Alpha Kai asked in a deep demanding tone,

"Oh! My king, i was merely trying...."

"save the stress and be straight forward" Alpha Kai cut her short sternly,

"I'm sorry, I saw a hideous mark on her body, It appears she's a mated vampire or a demon, She's here with an ulterior motive and you need to see it!" Giselle said.

"A mate mark?" Alpha Kai's brows squinted, He sniffled her and he was pretty sure she was not mated, Infact she was not exuding any strange scent other than a virgin wolf-less girl.

Alpha Kai looked at how vulnerable and uncomfortable she was,

"Everyone should leave here right now!" Alpha Kai ordered and almost immediately Ulric made sure only the Alpha and Lori were inside the room.

Alpha Kai walked closer to Lori "can you show me this mark?" He requested Lori calmly, She looked at his eyes, though It was expressionless, but she could find comfort and safety in those eyes, He looked at her with the same eyes when he saved her.

Lori swallowed and stood up before him, Alpha Kai's gaze was fixed on her, There was more to this lady that he needs to know about, She was just a virgin wolf-less girl, How could she have been marked without him scenting it?

As Lori turned her back against the king, She dropped the velvet used to clad herself and she was stark naked before him, His gaze trailed through her stark naked body from her spotless seductive legs,

"Below the collarbone" Lori said in her euphonious voice, and Alpha Kai gazed abruptly at the mark, So blue deep and fiery it burns,

"Ahh!!!" Alpha Kai groaned in pain as he held his head tightly, just immediately he saw this fiery mate mark It triggered a physical response in his head, a very discomfortable headache, the intensity of the pain was sharp due to the repulsive connection to the mark, as it brought back memories he loathed.

Lori was utterly puzzled, as different questions ran through her mind, How did he know her name? Why did he yelped in pain like that after seeing the mark? Why did he become extremely angry and cursed her ?
