Leila’s POV

After Maureen left, I followed Smithson using a concealing spell to mask my presence. I knew that there would definitely be confrontations between himself and Marcus.

If he emerged victorious for me, that was an added advantage but if not, I would have to find a way to strike another deal with Marcus.

After walking a while, in a straight path, he switched and walked towards the other side of the mansion. As he was walking, he collided with someone who had a good hold over him.

“Watch where you are going boy," he barked at the young man.

I was expecting the young man to flinch, but he did not. Instead, he stood and gazed at Smithson's face.

I couldn't see the face of who it was, but Smithson's face was white as snow, and immediately his eyes fell on the person.

“What the hell are you doing here? Wanna know what happened to your sister?" He yelled but there was no response from the young man.
