Sybil is unique, gifted with a certain type of magic. One she is going to use to save not hurt. She'll do what she must, even if that means crossing some lines to get what she needs. What she doesn't realize is that her stubborn determination puts her right in the path of Alpha Prime Aries. He's intimidating and clearly used to being obeyed. Who in their right mind would actually disobey him though? He's the leader of the strongest wolf shifters there are. Aries knew the moment he laid eyes on Sybil she is his mate. Even if she doesn't know this. What he does know is that his mate has a will of iron and a fire in her soul that she hides behind a polite mask. He's not fooled, and her stubbornness will make it hard for him to protect her. Sybil has no idea the dangerous world she just stepped into. Werewolves are not the only type of creature out there. Aries knows he needs to get Sybil to understand just how dangerous things are. Especially since she is the mate of the Alpha Prime and that puts a steep price on her life. __ “If I said no?” Sybil asked. At her words it looked like Aries's gaze went solid black. “Do you want to learn what bonding is by force or choice?” He asked her in a growl. “In this I will be an animal before a man.” Sybil saw the truth in his gaze and it made her heart slam against her ribs.

1. Cure for a Sickness

Sybil pushed some of the brown and copper strands out of her face and behind her ear as she worked. The ponytail wasn’t really doing its job anymore. She’d been working so many hours now that she didn’t realize how poorly it was holding her hair back. However she didn’t have any help right now, it was just her. Either lucky or unlucky enough to be immune to the sickness that was spreading through her town. “Where is it!” She snapped narrowing her aqua colored eyes. She spotted the black jar that she wanted in her pantry and nabbed it, nearly spilling a couple other jars. She quickly went back over to the stove and in the pot there she measured out several teaspoons of the yellow powder. The thin liquid in the simmering pot instantly turned blue, and she sighed a relief happy that it worked.

I would give this story more than 5 stars if it would allow us. This story takes you on an awesome adventure that is written so well you can picture everything clearly in your mind like you are there. Excellent job. Patiently waiting for Ziekily's story. Hopefully they get Verlex and the maidens.

2. Werewolves are Guardians

Sybil turned to go down the hall and went several steps before nearly running into a wall. She stopped looking up, and felt the color drain from her face. Good lord up close she felt even smaller. How tall was this man? Like seven foot had to be a good two sixty pounds of muscle.                “Ms. Temes?” He said and his voice was deep kind of gruff, but pleasant enough. He had dark blonde hair and amber colored eyes. The other was the same height as him close to six six, well that was her guess. Look she was on the taller side for a woman, just short of six foot but they made her feel short.                “Yes?” She said trying to keep the tremble out of her voice. What did he want with her and who told them her name? They were both rather good looking. The one that hadn’t spoken had a

3. Juniper Lily

Sybil had to blink in the very low blue light here. The orbs in the cavern floated near the ceiling and it was rather dim. But that was more than the guardians needed. They had damn good eyesight from what she heard. She shivered slightly. Walking through the portal kind of felt like pushing through water.                 There was no one in the tunnel and she was happy about that. Confrontation wasn’t what she wanted. She tried to avoid it. Didn’t mean she couldn’t hold her own. She just preferred the quiet approach. Hence why she didn’t tell Kal that she was going to go by herself. She was sure he’d have kept an eye on her. Tried to stop her and she was going to go. Better if she just nodded and left than anything else.                 As she got closer to the mouth of the cave it definitely dropped in temp. She zippe

4. Sybil Meet Aries

First thing Sybil was aware of was smell. Like fresh rain and she really liked it. Her brain wasn’t waking up for her to really be completely aware of things yet. Just that where she was, was warm. That smell was stronger and she was laying on something soft. There were voices, one in particular seemed strong and confident, gave orders. She felt the chills in her body again, and sluggish. A few times she thought something was pressed to her mouth. She was made to drink, she was moved somewhere or to something too. But never lucid that she could actually recall doing anything.                It happened rather suddenly in her opinion, she woke up and sat straight up. She felt confused, her head spun. Sybil didn’t know what kind of room this was. How’d she get here? She remembered being carried, her bag where was her bag? She twisted around leaning forward like she might get up, she al

5. He Said to Rest

“Miss you need to eat, and stay in bed.” Morris commented looking confused as to why she’d even try and get up. Aries was barely gone and she was ready to stand up and go. “I can do that once I get my cure worked on. It’s important, people are dying.” She swung her legs to the side of the bed and fought the dizzy spell that came to her. He set the tray of food next to her and looked like he was going to shake his head at her but refrained.  “You haven’t eaten anything really since you came here. At least eat before you attempt anything. You need the strength.” He told her kindly and pointed to the food. “If you don’t mind me saying so, right now you look like you’ll fall over where you stand.” She pursed her lips and looked at the food. Which her stomach did indeed cramp slightly clearly starving. “Food migh

6. Escape Plan

Sybil was rather quiet as she followed Morris down a flight of stairs and then a large corridor. She had to say that for being built into the side of a mountain, this place was rather open and airy. She noted that it looked like a honeycomb. With large gathering rooms, and whole areas that looked like apartments or something. Morris said that they were large and families lived  here. They had a number of rooms to call their own, which was just like owning a house outside. It was clear that each level was designated for something, but she didn’t get to see much of that. She wasn’t even sure what level she had been on. But where he took her she got the feeling that this was where the schooling happened. She saw a number of younger children through one door. Perhaps ten and then farther down older children, no more than twelve of them.

7. Slipping By

“Something wrong?” Daral asked and Aries frowned, no but yes. He felt something tug at his insides for a moment rather sharply. Instinct telling him something was off, that he should be paying attention. He inhaled but normal smells came to him. He came down from the step and turned looking toward the left and the tree line there. He frowned and stepped forward searching it slowly, he also looked at the ground and untouched snow. “I don’t know, I feel something. Just an odd feeling.” He told Daral who also looked out at the tree line. Something in him instantly thought of Sybil. He looked up at Daral. He could feel her close by he realized, very close and seeing she was the mate chosen for him that wasn’t a shock. However it shouldn’t be that close, and they had just met. So there wasn’t a deeper connection, seeing she was human. So she definitely had to be near him if that set off his radar. He let out a

8. Single Minded

Sybil drove her car rather fast back home. She had a feeling that she wasn’t going to have much time until someone showed or realized she was gone. She was transparent now as the potion wore off. She was glad that it was late so she didn’t run into anyone and they freaked out thinking she was a ghost. Nearly running into her apartment she dropped her bag. Sybil shoved all the dishes out of the way and they crashed into the sink. She then started to grab clean ones and got things prepped. It was time to work and she set to heating water and various other liquids that she was going to need. Now she had enough to make for everyone in the hospital. How good she felt that she was going to help them all. Her father was not going to succumb to this sickness.“Alright, I can do this.” She said with a nod making sure her hair was held back.

9. Do We Agree?

“I said that I’d answer for what I did, but I was going to give this cure first. If it were your people you’d do it too.” She said and she’d meant that on both parts. She felt she could guess his character pretty well. He seemed rather loyal, clearly had respect of those he was in charge of from what she saw. His hand was still on the box, holding it in place. She thought about just pulling it away from him but was afraid she’d break a vile or something. “If I don’t let you take this to them?” He asked with no real tone. “You took things from the stores you were allowed to use. We said you could make what you needed, but then you abused that privilege. Took from us.” He stated and she paled a bit. She was feeling sick all of a sudden. It was from nerves. Sybil was not the confrontation type. Didn’t mean she wouldn’t hold her ground. What if he didn’t let her take this, was that why he came himself and had

10. Target of a Demon

“We need to hurry, I’m worried we are too late.” She confessed and moved quickly toward the doors. Aries followed her but was glancing about the vehicles and narrowed his gaze. Something was moving in the shadows. He could sense it, and a couple times thought he saw the shadows deepen and move. Aries’s eyes had a sheen to them for a moment as he looked with his animal eyes. He felt a curl to his lip. Sybil was indeed in danger here. Her skill had been noticed by the enemy. He glanced at her as they hurried up to the building. Her pace was quick, he just had to lengthen his strides to keep up with her. Whatever was watching them had not made a move yet. Never good to rush an unknown enemy so he didn’t. Staying close to Sybil was smarter.  “This way.” She said as they went in. He was still looking outside, he didn’t like this. His gut clenched and he felt malevolence and it made the hair rise on the ba
