Pillow Talk

Diane's POV

It sounded more like a threat to me but I kept my cool for Owen's sake.

At the end of the day, I got one message from the conversation, Aaron was never letting me go. If I was going to ever get my freedom, then I was going to have to try another escape. The rescue mission I planned with Sophie might not be the answer I needed at this moment.

I volunteered to take Owen to his room after the long day spent at the picnic and I stayed with him till he fell asleep. I intentionally spent more time than necessary till I was sure that Aaron would have slept off while waiting for me, then I slowly slipped out of the room and I almost got an attack heart as I met with Kelvin at the door.

"What the hell! Kelvin, what are you still doing here?" I asked, holding my chest.

He bowed and dropped his eyes to the floor. "I am sorry Luna but I am only... doing my job..."

I cocked my head to the side and narrowed my eyes. "So you will keep standing here till when?"
